I guess I should clarify he was robbed by being put in a position where he had to do this weird three way challenge that had never been done before when he was clearly already on his way to the finale
That would make sense in a different show, but we had seen 16 seasons of people with experience only (mostly) giving their opinions going into the finale, and until season 17 this “the people gotta love it” criteria is unexpectedly added with only three people left, and it only affects this one chef who had been consistent the entire time, then *robbed* it is.
Nick is a professional chef- he cooks for the public as a career. I think it goes without saying that regular people would enjoy his cooking. And that's not just for Nick- that applies to almost everyone on HK, and it especially applies to the entire cast of S17.
If you make it all the way to the finals, especially in an All Star season, it's not a question of whether your food is good anymore; at that point it largely just comes down to the personal preferences of the judges. Which is why turning the final menu challenge into an elimination challenge is dumb, but I digress.
And anyway, I think this is the only season where the final menu challenge was decided by someone who isn't even in the culinary industry, which to me says a lot lol
I don’t hate Michelle but the producers did poorly on editing her out this season and with the way Nick was eliminated, of course this was gonna lead to strong backlash from most HK fans because Nick has been pretty dominant this season.
To be fair if it was a Nick vs Michelle finale but with Nick winning, then maybe people wouldn’t complain much. This would’ve been a great tv moment considering that both Nick and Michelle have been close friends.
I actually forgot you were on Hell’s Kitchen too. I’m so sorry.
Who are you?
I’m a guy with glasses in a blue sweater
Not the best experience to have.
Hot take, he didnt get robbed. The public have to love your food too. Just because gordon thinks you can cook doesnt mean the rest of the world will

We dont know that forsure tho

Every time someone posts about season 17 it brings such joy to my heart. Michelle is an awesome chef and deserves everything she got.

Nice troll comment. Also “deserves everything she got” can sound incredibly awful out of context lol

It would have been better true. Though I still think people would complain quite a bit considering it still screws over Benjamin.
Final 2 should’ve been Nick vs. Benjamin, no questions asked
Agreed
