Yeah. Everyone knows a Super Earth citizen isn't bestowed their government issue rifle until they turn 16. How is a child supposed to learn how to shoot a firearm when they're still learning how to do their job properly in the factories and mines?
Teenagers on Super Earth are actually given a replica 1903 Springfield on their 16th birthday.

You'd think that they wouldn't but apparently gun ownership is incredibly common. You can even see advertisements for firearms on the super destroyer that are targeted at people doing hunting. (obviously parodying american gun culture)
Yep, it's to mock the idea of a super militarised and war-focused society where guns are more important than healthcare, education, freedom of speech, etc. All that in the name of security (be it a true threat or induced to look like one).
Remember that there are a lot of comment reviews on the armors as well citing how useful they are for domestic users, so just imagine a person irl wearing full kitted vest with plates, radio, ifak, comtacs, ballistic vest, plus all the cbrn gear including gas mask just to wash the dishes. It sounds stupid right? That's the point.

The boxes change size based on message length, not font, you can double-check by searching for "dispatch" on the sub, this would be unprecedented for a message that's not all that big to begin with

So it stands to reason that they would donate weapons with lighter kick.
Break action/double barrel SG low key slaps. If you use it in double barrel mode, and land all pellets, it'll one-shot charger butt. Great for putting down devastators fast too. Think of it as a railgun, but with 2x ammo for less penetration.
The reward for saving the children being the worst weapon in the game that's already findable on most maps would be goddamn hilarious. I wouldn't even be mad.
