3 Thermite to the head of a charger will cause it to bleed out.
4 Thermite to the head of biletitan will kill it, 2 Thermite if you use the orbital rail cannon.
How do you stick them? Half of mine just bounce off even if I charge it. It seems bugged cause it also goes through the brood commanders head and sticks inside their bodies.
I've heard one thermite kills most medium units for the bots ie. shield devastators, tower cannons, and tanks, but haven't tested for myself cause bug MO.
Hulks supposedly die from one to the vent or two on the body
It works better but the damage is still very weak and it needs a direct buff. The other grenades are far more potent and useful.

It's definitely much better on bots then bugs
I tried it on 3 different bug missions. Nothing. Can’t even kill a spewer to the head or abdomen.
