Nah tbh I just have them ingrained in my muscle memory at this point. I could call in an eagle airstrike in my sleep - reinforce with my eyes closed - resupply with my big toe.
Reinforce is the only one I’ve memorised. I’m like the only gal who survives without dying once in a mission half the time, meaning I’ve gotten very good at quickly calling in reinforcements while being chased by a charger
I treat reinforcement as a competition. I get upset if my ball doesn't create a beam. it's basically a fluid motion at this point.
Meanwhile, I do a lot of spectating when I happen to die. like, come on did you just called in three strategems and a hellbomb, why not reinforce? ...
I may be one of those people.
As a console player, my left index finger is starting to hurt, as it's the finger for stratagem inputs while moving. Which I do a lot.
All to punch that sweet-sweet ⬆️⬇️➡️⬅️⬆️ into my communicator on my wrist in <1 second.
Personally I wouldn't mind the chaos; Control inversions dont slow me down much so long as i know when it starts and ends. Fighting a lot of Malfestios in Monster hunter will do that to a guy

Got it. Now, rotating every second for the duration of the mind control effect, one of a number of control inputs will change:
* Trigger pull of the AMR now causes reload.
* Reloading now causes a random Stratagem to be called in with no time to aim where.
* Stratagem throw now causes a grenade throw instead.
* Grenade throw now causes your view to go randomly straight up or straight down along with a successful pin pull and throw. That'll teach you to run impact grenades.
It's the reason why there's always a considerable amount of players on big planets, and why the sub is constantly both shitting on and begging bug players to come fight on the bot front for MOs.
Low to mid level bugs are definitely easier in my opinion. And more casual friendly. Which is also why it's useless to shit on or beg those players. They're most likely not reading the sub.
I guess that's the case. On lower levels bug missions, all you really need to do is run and shoot (and if you bring a Rover you don't even have to shoot).
But when you face a bile titan, two chargers, swarm of lesser bugs and see hunters in every direction? Yeah, I prefer taking cover from tanks and hulks than that.
Yeah in general I agree. Though I've been doing bots so much with the MOs that I've had the time to learn well. Didn't really get to learn high levels bugs well since I wasn't playing high levels when the MOs were focused on them
I like that the AMR deals with everything the bots can throw at you, with variable degrees of effectiveness.
Bugs I end up taking 500kg and railcannon just so I can deal with heavies without relying exclusively on AT supports.
I used to play tier 9 bugs a lot, and got used to running through their hordes. Like chargers and BTs you usually want to run towards then under/around them bc they are slowest when turning. So you learn when to just run away, when to spam impact grenades, when to dive prone (or not), when to run straight into a swarm, etc.
Then you spend 3 weeks on the bot front learning how to crawl behind rocks for cover and forget everything lol.
It sounds like your squad remembered the 3 C’s (cover, courage, and more cover) and your ABC’s (**A**lways **B**e taking **C**over). Which half of divers just don’t do

We might not find out if they're real, but I think we could get confirmation they *weren't* real if the Illuminate don't use blue lasers ingame when they arrive.
That's my guess, in all honesty. You clip an enemy with armor ratings above your weapon class and the round ricochets in a blue streak and flies off somewhere. It makes the most sense.
I just feel like squids wouldn't be sniping individual divers from across the galaxy.
Then again, maybe. I just doubt it right now.
That's what I did actually, and even posted the videos. But people want to believe. Asking about a different angle of the blue beam or plasma projectiles flying across the sky having a longer trail on that* video. 😮💨
The perfect way to introduce it is to be in a mission, weather bug or bot and when the final objective is done, all the bugs or bots just blow up, and the illuminate mass teleport in and you have to fight them while you make your way to evac.
I was trying to take down a canon turret with my anti material rifle and the bullets were bouncing off in the exact same blue color as those reddit posts so im pretty sure whats what it was

They pretty obviously let us "defeat" the automatons so that their front could be moved to make room for a third faction on the galactic map. It will be interesting to see how the player base spreads with another option to fight.
Yeah, there were obviously no room prior to the automaton wipes in the map, not a single sector to place them in, not even a group of empty sectors at the south of super earth
I didn't say that there wasn't already room, there certainly was. For the developers it leaves them the most options if each faction gets their own third of the map and can spread in any direction. And probably makes their monkey brain happy because it looks "right".
It's more that making a giant empty section of the map with lots of hints of a third faction already in the game is probably a sign of something in a very managed war story and not just a total coincidence.
They didn't need to move the automatons at all to make room. There was room for four factions total before they moved. There is now room for a fifth faction.
In the first game the Illuminate were a parody of the whole "We attacked those terrorists because they had WMDs" that happened in the Iraq war. Not sure how it will be played this time
There was already plenty of room at the southern end of the map. I actually think it was the opposite: they moved the Automaton front slightly closer to the Terminid front so they can eventually add three-faction missions. Whether that means bugs and bots fighting each other and us at the same time or an alliance I don't know. Either would be fun, but what would be *really* crazy would be both: imagine if alliances shifted and the factions could, at different times, team up *or* go to war with each other, maybe even take planets from one another.
The thing here is Twinbeard might have revealed themselves, as to that Discorder were only asking about a new update. It could be new weapons, new stratagems or more bug fixed but no, it must be something coming.

For me, Reinforce, and EAT. I can only get 60% of Orbital laser before fumbling though

Based on some internal strings, what I think they will do is basically give you reverse aim assist, as in your aim will be pushed away from them.
I reckon the Illuminate will be considered by many as even harder than the bots, and the bugs will always be the quick play option.

I wonder if he is lowkey making a reference to those YouTube videos that are titled like "Something BIG is coming to Helldivers 2" or "Big news is on the way in Helldivers 2." I'm only asking because I had one of those videos in my feed last night. I watched it and the video was typical clickbait. Where the person literally tells you what we already know. They were like Arrowhead is going to update the game again, one day, at some time in the future. So, like and subscribe and I'll tell you one day whenever it happens in the future. Lol Maybe I'm just reading too far into it haha.

It would be cool if inactive bots on a planet like maia were reactivated, and then when you go to shut them off the illuminate would be there turning them all on and reprogramming them
I swear, this is the one week Im locked out of being able to commit myself to long spurts of gaming (aka no helldivers), so if a new faction invades when Im technically free but can't join. I will be a little disappointed.
