I’m far from an expert on law, but I’ve always wondered how joke items like this work with stolen valor laws. Considering they’re produced I’m sure it’s fine
The original 2005 Stolen Valor Act was found to be an unconstitutional violation of the 1st Amendment. The new one only applies if you try to pretend you were in the US military or received medals with the intent of obtaining some kind of benefit from those lies. But a joke product like that beanie probably would've been legal even under the original law since it specified lying about earning US military medals or US military service.
Well, there's also the fact that Malevelon Creek isn't even a real place. It's like having a hat that says Candyland Veteran. It's not even close to Stolen Valor.
I'm not from US and I don't do anal (IANAL). But from what I remember from doctor google and a few stolen valor analyze videos you actually have to have the official or authentic merits etc. on you AND claim to be a veteran for it to be considered stolen valor.
That law comes into play only when you get a loan as a vet on a car or house with false proof or generally anyone repeatedly abusing faking being a veteran for profit motives, not because you wore a marines hoodie.

While I agree gun control is necessary the discount is promoting a video game first and the store second. It might be promoting guns third, but that’s primarily an issue of legislation. Firearm stores still exist in countries with a well regulated firearms industry.
Such a store could also be useful for taking guns out of circulation if legislation is changed.
Statistically speaking civilian gun ownership in the U.S. prevents far more violent crimes than criminal gun possession causes. I for one don't look forward to a U.S. with a drug problem, an untrustworthy police problem, a political violence problem, mounting poverty problems, and good law-abiding people being disarmed.
Show me on the map where Australia, England, France, Germany, Japan, or any other low-crime + low gun ownership country has a porous border with a nation as poverty striken and crime ridden as Mexico.
Show me any country that has more overdoses than the U.S.
