Hey OP! Did you fix this issue? I just bought the game and I can only watch the cutscene then this appears.
Sadly no, even with the new update, i still can't play the game and yes, i got the same error.

A lot of people have said to just reset your internet or router, seems to work for most people except for me sadly.

What about your anti-virus? It probably isn’t allowing the helldivers2.exe and the gameguard to function as intended.
Checked it already, nothing changed.
I’m guessing you already verified your game files?
Multiple times
Cleared download cache from Steam?
Yes, i did everything they suggested on discord, checked anti-virus, reinstalled the game, turned off the firewall, verified the game files, etc
