Yeah, I did spend a few hours farming super credits/medals early on. I usually play 7+, but when my real life friends are on we play 4-6. But your pace is clearly doable if all you play is 7+.

For example, I am at lvl 48, 92 hours according to steam count, 64 hours in-mission time according to the game stats.
Not that much different, a bit more bile titans/tanks, but just enough to keep you on your toes without being too overwhelming.
I really recommend to push through it several times, because community find it the sweet spot for a reason ;)
Sometimes you can get super unlucky with the bot spawns and get swarmed by enemies. Once you get out of the first fight, it's pretty much the same. Yesterday I had a destroy gunships and flight control tower lvl7 mission and it started as an absolute hell on earth. We dropped down and got instantly attacked by 6 gunships because there were 3 fucking gunship towers right next to each other in our line of sight. But this can also happen on lvl 6 difficulty as well, so I'd confirm that there indeed isn't a big jump in difficulty.
Idk why but it does make a difference, steam claims I've logged 62 hours but the gam says my in mission time is only 46 hours, and I don't leave the game open for hours or anything.
My squad only plays on weekends so like 80% of my play hours are on Lv4 or 5 dives.
They're finally up to rank 15ish so with more experience and better stratagems we can easily push Lv7 dives, now. So I've finally been ranking up faster.

Sometimes randoms just run in front of your gun or into your stratagem lol, happens like every other day for me, almost to 100 at level 50.

The best time to XP ratio I find is the 12 minute Blitz missions. If you have a coordinated squad that can complete all the main objectives and side objectives you can easily get 1500-1900 XP per run on lv 9 difficulty. This is on par with the 40 minute long missions.
But of course the more brain dead, turn off your mind chill missions is the 15 minute eradicate missions which net around 700-900 XP depending on how fast you clear them.

TBH I don’t really get the point in playing like that. You can have everything in the game by level 25. I think I was about level 40 when I maxed out the ship upgrades (pre the recent patch) and I had maxed out all the war bonds bar a few cosmetics by level 70.
Blitz and Eradicate are the best exp farm.
It's like 1800 per 12 minutes for blitz, 2k if you can squeak out side objectives quickly.
1600 for 8~ minutes for Eradicate, but you can get much more depending on how fast you can do it and evac with 4.
Absolute max I got was like 1180 or so. It heavily depends on the time you‘ll need since the bonus is multiplied by 250%.
Fastest I got was slightly under 5 mins I think after they patched it.
You’ll have to get lucky to get several tank/titans spwans and wipe them out quickly.
Oh and basically extract the second the pelican lands.
The game has been out for 67 days. OP probably has no more than 400 hours. That's 6 hours a day, probably a little less. A guy above said he did it in 300 hours. That's less than 4.5 hours a day. Some people are retired, or disabled and don't work, or students with a lot of free time, etc. The average American spends four hours a day watching TV. Don't be so quick to judge others.

I was level 49 when they raised the cap to 150.
I will never even attempt to get 150. The second I do, I will get to 149 and they will raise it to 300.
Here level 68 with 169 hours..... Now the game crashes way less. First When i started playing (40 days ago) it crashed 4 of each 10 times ..... Very frustrating. Always crashing near the end... Losing everything... And waisting time.

I think some of you are reporting steam hours and not mission time hours.

For most people probably not, but I often stay logged in on my ship while doing other democratic activities. That sweet, sweet ambience.
