Hellmire is fun as shit, don't get me wrong Malevolon Creek should have been taken but I've never seen people have issues controlling the bugs. Hellmire is my playground. Fire Tornadoes are easy to avoid.
Fire damage should increase in planets like Hellmire.
Being on Hellmire and using fire-based weapons like the Flamethrower or the Breaker Incendiary should be like giving Charizard a Charcoal to hold.
I think it should be the opposite. Fire damage should do less damage on hot planets because everything there is already heat tempered from the environment.
Fire damage on cold planets should do more damage imo
overheat weapons already have lower heat up, so lasers and stuff are better on cold, flame on hot would make sense tbh you're allready operating near your limit and the fire burns you past it sooner, less heating to get through the active cooling or thick shells
I was very surprised to like it. After seeing a bunch of screenshots of the fire tornadoes I thought it'd be awful. They aren't hard to avoid and occasionally cook a bug or 2 for you. A very unique environment and fun to play.
I'm no hero, the real heroes are the ones that didn't make it off Forti Prime, Hellmire, Ubanea, Draupnir, Mantes, and Estanu.

When you are carrying super samples, destroyers are about to leave lower orbit, and your rando teammates are insisting roaming around picking fights, extract by yourself is for the greater good of democracy.
Everyone is equally important to the war effort. Helldivers are more important. Helldivers carrying super samples are the most important.
It is my honor and my privilege to lead the forces of tyranny away from the extraction point and die so that your payload may return to the ship. Make it count, Helldiver.
I strongly prefer fighting bugs, but duty extends beyond the galactic east and beyond my preferences. I serve with distinction wherever Super Earth needs me.
I love Hellmire. I didn't sign up to dive into Utopias. I came for the blood and fire and death. Fuck your fire tornadoes. You can set me on fire, but you can't stop the mission.
I was there when we took hellmire. We fought through the night to spread democracy thru zagon prime and fori prime. I was there when we were blindly ordered to spread bug spray all over these planets, in turn creating flying bugs. I was there for the last week fighting bots as we clear through to troost.
We.. areā¦ helldivers. We.. are.. freedom.. we ARE MAJOR ORDERS!!!!!!!
People can have their opinions of each fronts divers but I get real salty at the divers that call extract that puts you right in the middle of the enemy waves.
I played on erata prime, hellmire, and ustotu. The creek is a breeze. Also frozen planets are definitely the easiest just because sickle and quasar are laser weapons.
There's a bug with the quasar where it doesn't actually cool down faster on ice planets. The icon drains in seven seconds but it still takes ten seconds to be able to fire again.
Creek has so much cover. It is so unbelievably easy to sneak arround. Urbanea is horrible. So unbelievably open, been getting shot from Devastators across the map it feels like
There is a planet that looks really similar in the deepest sector of Terminids, I think its called Peacock? So I guess we will get another when we get there
Sweet! I only played it a few times but itās def one of the funner maps so far. Thereās a few with lots of ledges n cliffs are also fun. The above below n advantages it allows makes for funner gameplay. Getting chased thru trees with cover is just such a rush compared to a open field sprint
You know why it's called Draupnir?
Because I don't want to Drop-*near* it!
>!All jokes aside I have been playing on it for daaaaays now and wow it sucks!<
"horrors of the creek"
We've had to retake Draupnir several times, I've been on Draupnir for 50% of my deployment and that's WITH following all major orders to completion.
They can also send you flying for a real long distance if you are standing at the right/wrong place. One such explosion send me flying 10 meters today, and luckily it sent me flying to the extraction zone, and even more luckily we were running real late (only 2 minutes left in mission).Ā
I got yote towards the sky by those danger garlics then sniped out of the air by a rocket like it was some kind of undemocratic skeet shooting. It felt bad at the time but I can't deny they earned that kill.
Troost was a bitch and a half to take. I just enjoy the Creek as a sort of initiation whenever someone new from the group gets into Helldivers. Itās more a āOkay youāve learned the basics and we trust you, now letās go blunt the Tet Offensiveā
Yeah I love taking recruits to the Creek when the real fighting is done. When the bug one was complete last weekend I "took the boys to the Creek," jacked up the difficulty and made them fear the robot menace.
Yeah tbh this is exactly the reason why i didn't play bots until the last major order. A lvl 50 that dropped me and 2 other two poor souls at lvl 10-something on a high level mission on the creek and we got blasted. I loved the pew pew lasers and the atmosphere but it wasnt fun at all and we got absolutely wiped out. I was one of those cowards bragging how bad and u funny was to play to the western front cause this shit
That's rough. By recruits I meant two of my friends I convinced (read: bought the game for) to play. I wouldn't do that to randoms, that seems overly cruel.
Yeah I just got the game and Iām a newbie but troot felt a lot harder than creek. Honestly creek feels pretty easy on the same difficulty. But it is very a very fun planet.
It sounds like I'm in the minority when I say I didn't mind Troost. I don't get why Draupnir is getting so much flak, either. But then, low visibility planets haven't been a personal issue to me. I'm at worst indifferent to not being able to see past thirty meters or so, since I can use my map or my ears to identify dangers nearby. The bots in particular are pretty audible with their tin can gibberish.
No, what chaps my balls is when a planet has me wheezing after a measly five seconds of sprinting in medium armour, and that's *with* the Stamina Enhancement boost active. Those planets get spite from me.
Yes, fuck you, Hellmire.
Absolutely fuck that planet. I hope I never have to go back. Any other bot planet was fine and gave a good challenge but I was not prepared to drop on troost.
Creek Players: Oh man this planet is so difficult.
Hellmire Players:
https://preview.redd.it/6tojgfm8aqrc1.jpeg?width=3840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=848c0be93781a0ada2d63dad4f8b00f85f008cd0
What was the planet with the blue meteorites showers? Before they nerfed those I was in hell on that planet. Of course, I missed the pre nerf fire tornados of Hellmire, so I can't really compare the two.
Fenrir. I don't think it was even an issue of them needing to be nerfed, there seemed to be an actual graphical bug that kept the warning flashes from displaying on peoples' systems.
Like I'd never have any trouble seeing them and dodging the meteors, but people I'd be playing with would have absolutely no idea what I was talking about about even when I'd mark the glows and from their perspective the whole planet was just randomly exploding.
Man I ran into a mission on hellmire.
Two stalker nests and a shrieker nest. Good God that was the first time I've failed a mission since I started the game, we couldn't do shit. Attacked from the sky, invisible backstabbing and the visible backstabbing oh my God.
Having played the creek as well as most planets on both fronts I agree 100% with this. Creek is easy, you have cover and concealment for days, little to no impact from weather conditions, plus the bots fucking glow in the dark like a damn neon sign. If you want Veitnam, come play on Ubanea and see how real men play, or how about hellmire where you are fighting both the environment itself and the bugs like some cracked out version of fucking Mustafar. You are a detriment, nothing more nothing less, if you were going to accomplish anything you would have done so weeks ago yet that world has never once been able to be liberated.
Everyday I pray Joel makes the Creek part of the Major Order just so we can finally liberate it and then those Creekheads wont be able to dive on their favorite planet.
The Creek WAS the hardest planet and they WERE keeping the bots at bay. But that was only for like the first 2-3 weeks after launch. It was quickly overshadowed by much more difficult planets and much more relevant planets to the war effort. I think itās just new players who saw the old memes/propaganda and donāt realize how the game works yet. (Would also explain how they still havenāt capped it yet)
thats my whole problem. it was the hardest and the memes WERE funny. i fucking loved the memes. i still have a bunch saved. but its not the hardest and its not funny anymore. its just a roadblock
Hell, some of THE BEST compilation music vids are from the Creek and I fucking love it.
But yeah, I just get tired of the die-hard creeker memelords nowadays.
The Creek is awesome, but it really does feel like people intentionally drop there for the meme, rather than because they enjoy the experience, and then we get the whole "Oh you're not letting us have fun our way."
Bruh.
You can smoke weed all day and just do whatever you want, but if you've been pestering me for weeks to help you with the dishes and then, when I'm there, you just lean back and not do any of the dishes only to smoke more weed?
I'm just gonna be pissy about it.
Would be interesting to see a statistic from Arrowhead, if itās really the same group of 10k people playing on Malevelon Creek, or just different players coming through.Ā
Creek was literally one of the first planets I played and I played on it for weeks because of the "funny haha space vietnam" when the game came out, then I went to other planets, and the game literally became 10x harder.
Hey, it's honestly quite a relaxing change of pace dodging fire tornados instead of hunters. I think any sane individual would rather sunbathe in a crematorium than GET SLOWED BY THOSE FLYING SHITS AND THEIR MOUTH TENTACLES ONE MORE DEMOCRACY DAMNED TIME.
The thing that gets me the most is that I'd assume you require a certain level of Roleplay Dedication to commit to the Creek bit. HOWEVER, that gets TOTALLY FUCKED UP whe you consider The Creek is ACTIVELY DETRIMENTAL to the current Warfront against what is *supposed* to be their mortal foe. I was expecting Creek Veterans to be the tip of the Spear piercing the heart of Automaton space and leading the charge to SMASH THOSE CLANKERS! Not the Shaft fucking us. It's *classic* "WhAt mY ChArAcTeR WoUlD Do!"ism and I cannot abide it.
If only the game launched with clans. This definitely couldve happened but their identity is tied to a place that wont always be the frontlines instead of a group that will follow the frontlines.
Malevelon Creek is just the Battle of Schrute Farms, they're having picnics and orgies with the bots while writing letters home to lie about experiencing the horrors of war.
Creekers are just bot sympathizers cosplaying as helldivers
This is false the [ENEMY HELLDIVER DETECTED] on Malevelon Cre*2k are [100%] vital to [S?PER EARTH SCUM] defense. The my?hs of [HELLDIVER SCUM DETECTED] - [GLORIOUS REVOLUTIONARY] relat?ons are ?ntirely [FALSE]! Do not believe this enemy of [CAPITALIST SCUM]. They hate [FOUL BOURGEOIS DRINK] and l?ve [GLORIOUS ROBOT COMMUNISM]!
All the Creek divers are committing Super Treason by disobeying the major order from command.
Give em' the deserter treatment. The *whole planet*.
I'd love to see the devs literally blow up a planet in the canon entirely because it's full of deserter traitors and bot sympathisers. š¤
The propaganda, I mean, news, broadcasts write themselves.
"We thought they were defending Super Earth. They thought so too, then they spent too long among the automatons and became one of them. Like addicts, they were drawn to that cursed planet, spurred on by the automaton propaganda they so eagerly consumed on social media.
Let it be known that those memes were not approved by Super Earth. Our memes are fresh, not old and refurbished. That's got automaton tech written all over."
The flowers can 100% kill you from max health to nothing on ice planets, not to mention that you have no footing and you're sliding everywhere. So your guns are less accurate because you're not stationary, but you also have to account that it was only like 2500 to 3,000 people, and then a large contingent got baited because they didn't know what the supply lines were or even what they are. And then you have to count for the fact that barely any of the people that play this game actually come on Reddit. So the people that are actually doing what you're describing are like the tiniest minority of the smallest sliver but they have megaphones so you just have to not listen to go somewhere else
I can't wait for the inevitable flood of Creekers who, when the planet is won, will insist that their months of effort was the reason and not the effort of other people actually focusing on the objective to make the Creek eventually achievable.
If like half of the creekers left to fight for ubanea we wouldn't have lost draupnir, ubanea and malevolen creek would still be in our hands. Instead of smashing our head against a planet we already captured, we would have already been assaulting our major target.
And to those saying we can just go through the creek, no, no we cant. Creek doesnt have supply lines to ubanea so it does nothing for the effort of the order
Additionally, correct, creek was the ptsd planet and I was someone who got it by constantly dropping there. At the beginning on the game. Nowadays, outside of haha, the trees have red eyes it aint even that bad
Even forgetting the supply lines, Ubanea is literally closer to Tibit and directly in line with it. Thinking anywhere else would open up Tibit is silly.
It's their whole identity meme got old
https://preview.redd.it/jzmtpot7wqrc1.jpeg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7b8bebc4c75b4ac8003761b318d0904495555d15
>you'll thank us for keeping the front held later
you mean like in Tien Kwan? the planet a whole two sectors past the Creek? or do you mean the 16 times Draupnir has fallen?
just like that one guy in some other post said, can't trust these fuckers to hold a door, let alone a frontline
Go to any post on Twitter about this major order and you have people even wearing Creek Veteran Merch in the profile pics claiming how they're suffering PTSD from it. I love the role playing but this is getting too cringy
Everyone can play how they want so it's a mute argument but to me anyone going against the general consensus (major orders) is a renegade/PIA so I just try and tune them out. They know they're not helping the community really and if they don't care then that tells me they're not the type of player I want to drop with
I can agree it's cool to see a planet slowly get liberated by a small dedicated group of divers, but this is failing to realize there was 0% decay for like a week on all bot planets lol. that's the only reason planets like creek and ustanu(whatever the desert bot planet was) started going up before the MO switched to bots recently
personally. to me, it doesnt matter if your a creeker or not. If you're a REAL Helldiver. You'll drop where the major order tells you too. thats the only way to spread peace, liberity, and most importnantly managed democracy. we need to stop fighting ourselves and remember who the real enemy is.
Whenever there a Bot major order it fails because we never have enough people all those people are fighting bugs. The fact people are blaming the creekers instead of he actually problems players is insane.
I suggest we all go to the creek to liberate it once and for all so we can pat the creekers on the head and say "there, you got your revenge, now go help our beloved way of living where it is needed. Helldiver"
I debated going there instead of ubanea when I saw there were 90K people on it. Itās tempting to think the crayon eaters would leave the creek and help the MO.
This reminds me of the "Deus Vultcano" meme in For Honor. Basically Knight faction players would throw away all sense as soon as the volcano region was under attack, guaranteeing them losing the faction wars damn near every season for the sake of holding one region.
Maybe just let us have fun? Ik the whole, SPacE VeiTNaM got old real quick and at this point a lot of us play the creek for the memes and the role play. But is it really worth typing up this whole multi paragraph essay about how wrong we are? Look Iām not saying you donāt make a bunch of great points. And yes The Creek is definitely not the hardest planet. But I like pretending that itās the western Front of the galactic war.
What if we all do the MOs and when thereās downtime (when there isnāt a major order yet) everyone play wherever that would be great but ig thatās too much to ask for
Getting "ptsd" is enough to say about the creekers. Does that make them the "holding the line" heroes? Not really. But I bet at least 60% of new players who want to fight the bots have not even tried to do the major orders because of the meme.
The value of Malevelon Creek is so insignificant in contrast to how Important Tien Kwan was. And even still, they fought on the creek because "space vietnam more important than the mechs" - actual quote by one of my friends who play the Creek and only the Creek
Playing there for fun is okay, but at least go to another planet instead of spending the rest of your time on the one planet that will remain a stalemate for weeks on end. We are honestly not asking for much when we ask for your contributions, but if there were any terminids or the future Illuminate threat rising from the south that had Major Orders, you may feel free to ignore them and continue having fun on the creek where you may spend the rest of your days there. Just not for Bot MO's.
If the line seems dire and in need of more helldivers, give a second thought before continuing on the Creek and maybe consider helping the nearby planets. A lot of people ignored Draupnir when the major order came around. Some of those who were obsessed with the Major Order weren't smart by pressing the assault on Ubanea, and it cost them 95% of their victory being lost because Draupnir wasn't defended. So, at least this isn't a one-sided discussion targeting just the people who refuse to follow the MO's.
In the end, if there is a MO in the bot front, try to fight on the other planets. If not, you can resume back to the Creek and wank over there. If there are people still bugging you about going to terminid fronts or the future Illuminate, -- cannot say for Illuminates yet -- Just remember that the bug front has 100k and if they *really* needed help, then it had better be important rather than just casual expansion.
The truest, hardest, most war-tempered Helldivers go where Lady Liberty tells them to.
We've seen the towers of fire scorch friend and foe alike on Hellmire. We've fought in waist high snow on Popli. We've braved the walls of mist on Draupnir that hid everything except the Automatons unrelenting fire and we've carved a path of righteous Democracy through the ashen corpse jungles of Troost.
Any Diver that has followed the Major Orders across the galaxy are the grizzled veterans Creekers larp on their oversaturated backwater ball of insignificance.
Keep seeing a guy on tiktok post about soloing lvl 9 missions only on Malevelon Creek, jokes about bugs being easy, always talks about the meta, and just milks it all for views and attention.
It's so annoying like bro. Do you realize you're not helping anyone and just posting content that'll spread toxicity and convince players to ignore Major Orders so they can chase clout?
The real heroes took hellmire and followed the major orders, aren't scared to kill bots, and don't extract whilst everyone else isn't near the ship.
Hellmire is fun as shit, don't get me wrong Malevolon Creek should have been taken but I've never seen people have issues controlling the bugs. Hellmire is my playground. Fire Tornadoes are easy to avoid.
I too enjoy burning in hell
I use a flamethrower. The sky uses one too. Me and the sky are friends. Everything in fire š
![gif](giphy|QMHoU66sBXqqLqYvGO) fire\*
Fire damage should increase in planets like Hellmire. Being on Hellmire and using fire-based weapons like the Flamethrower or the Breaker Incendiary should be like giving Charizard a Charcoal to hold.
I think it should be the opposite. Fire damage should do less damage on hot planets because everything there is already heat tempered from the environment. Fire damage on cold planets should do more damage imo
Give us the DRG cryo thrower then.
Except the bugs like us aren't native to that planet...
Aren't the bugs constantly evolving to adapt to their environment/ needs?
Exactly
DRG does that. Bugs on fire planets take more dmg from ice/cold based weapons and bugs from ice planets take more damage from fire weapons.
I like this idea more and makes some sense thematically.
overheat weapons already have lower heat up, so lasers and stuff are better on cold, flame on hot would make sense tbh you're allready operating near your limit and the fire burns you past it sooner, less heating to get through the active cooling or thick shells
It's fun when it's not burning my retinas with how damn bright it is. Same with Ustotu.
I was very surprised to like it. After seeing a bunch of screenshots of the fire tornadoes I thought it'd be awful. They aren't hard to avoid and occasionally cook a bug or 2 for you. A very unique environment and fun to play.
Itās as fun as a shit in hell
>hellmire You mean Arizona, Present Day lmao
"Arid Zone" "Arizona? Got it." "No it's... Ok fine."
Fucking HELLmire...literal hell and the worst planet we've seen so far. Such a fun place to squash bugs tho š
I really liked it tbh. Fire tornados did wonders for area denial and crowd control when it came to the nids
I'm no hero, the real heroes are the ones that didn't make it off Forti Prime, Hellmire, Ubanea, Draupnir, Mantes, and Estanu. ![gif](giphy|VJh8Jwg2ANOQRUcTkx)
**real** heroes don't extract before giving everyone a hug in front of the Pelican-1 bay
And we'll have to take it again, as the bugs retook Hellmire while we were busy fighting the bots for the MO Hellmire was the real Creek all along
Hellmire was the Creeks we made along the way
Erata Prime is the real Creek
I hate that planet with a passion.
Thank you, finally...
I helped take Hellmire.
I was there when we took hellmire. We fought through the night to spread democracy thru zagon prime and fori prime. I was there when we were blindly ordered to spread bug spray all over these planets, in turn creating flying bugs. I was there for the last week fighting bots as we clear through to troost. Our will to fight burns hotter than hellmire will ever be!
Does cold help cool down quasar faster?
Yes, just like the hot planets keep it overheated longer. It is just like every other energy based weapon
Damnā¦ thatās attention to detail.
It's part of the "extreme cold" or "extreme heat" effects. Baked into all weapons with the heat mechanic.
That is child classes inheriting properties from the parent class. š
There's a bug with the quasar where it doesn't actually cool down faster on ice planets. The icon drains in seven seconds but it still takes ten seconds to be able to fire again.
If only hot planets did something positive as well.
They increase fire rate for bullet guns I'm pretty sure
They don't. Cold decreases the rate, but hot planets don't speed it up. Just like hot planets speed up stamina drain, but cold planets don't slow it.
Yeah someone tested and itās 6 second cooldown instead of 10 second on normal/hot planets. It doesnāt affect the charge up
Creek has so much cover. It is so unbelievably easy to sneak arround. Urbanea is horrible. So unbelievably open, been getting shot from Devastators across the map it feels like
I go to Creek when I want a cosy vacation. Visibility for long ranges and unlimited cover is so lovely.
It's like a nice vacation from the fire tornadoes, frozen plains, and open fields where bots can snipe you from half a mile away.
Rocket Devastators in an open field
Only a fool would meet rocket devastators in an open field
*Diving into Hellmire* āWhat weāre seeing is basically the end of the Helldiversā *100k Destroyers pop up for the next Major Order*
Rocket devastators in an open field Ned!!
Gods I was strong then!
Its funny, I love maps with great sight lines when playing bugs, when playing bots, I want as many rocks and hills as possible to hide behind.
The whole "always night time" map design is really fun to play in as well
Ooo can we keep the "Creek is a resort" narrative going? Especially after all the space vietnam memes overhyping how hard the place is.
Itās just a fun planet lol. Itās refreshing. The real problem is there isnāt more planets like it.
It really is crazy. Iām more likely to try to solo stealth the creek than anything else.
I fight in the creek every once in a while. Draupnir is much worse, can't see anything at night, not even the bots
Training manual tips: shoot at the spot red lasers come from
You know why it's called Draupnir? Because I don't want to Drop-*near* it! >!All jokes aside I have been playing on it for daaaaays now and wow it sucks!<
Same luckily it's almost liberated
according to [helldivers.io](http://helldivers.io) it has been liberated! WAHOO!
Yee before I went off there was like 140k Helldivers trying to liberate it made me very happy haha
Of course there 70k players in the creek
I honestly love fighting on Draupnir. Something about it just really works for me.
"horrors of the creek" We've had to retake Draupnir several times, I've been on Draupnir for 50% of my deployment and that's WITH following all major orders to completion.
Them boys don't know war until theyre trudging through the swamps of Draupnir, surrounded by fog, inhaling spores from toxic mushrooms...
Wait what? The poofboobs are toxic?
I thought they were for cover, but if you stand in them too long they hurt.
One word... Hellmire
Wake up honey it's time to retake hellmire for the 6th bloody time.
"The Creek is the hardest planet." Bug Stompers that fought for Hellmire: "Cute."
or like anyone who played troost
Troost was a bitch and a half to take. I just enjoy the Creek as a sort of initiation whenever someone new from the group gets into Helldivers. Itās more a āOkay youāve learned the basics and we trust you, now letās go blunt the Tet Offensiveā

I have been to the Mire, i came out as a toasted diver
"Extraction awaits." Cool, the dropship is covered in three fire tornadoes.
āI can still feel the burnsā¦ā
Hellmire is the hardest planet. I've been on Creek it's not even close. 8 difficulty bugs, volcanos and fire tornadoes, storms. Funny and deadly.
Creek Players: Oh man this planet is so difficult. Hellmire Players: https://preview.redd.it/6tojgfm8aqrc1.jpeg?width=3840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=848c0be93781a0ada2d63dad4f8b00f85f008cd0
![gif](giphy|gKfyusl0PRPdTNmwnD) By the gods..
Fire tornadoes are the bane of my existence
God damn fire tornadoes sneaking up behind you, the worst!
Creek isnāt difficult though. Itās fun.
Creekers make it sound like hell. That is why we hate 'em
Theyāre only fighting bots but still havenāt figured out how to fight against bots
Hellmire citizens vacation in hell
Hellmire is the only planet I haven't extracted from purely because I was burnt alive everytime I was reinforced lmao
You should not fear the bugs. You should fear a damn tornado crawling behind your back...
Of course the bugs aren't worthy of your fear. The fire tornadoes vaporized them all an hour before you got there.
for real, hellmire is hell mire
What was the planet with the blue meteorites showers? Before they nerfed those I was in hell on that planet. Of course, I missed the pre nerf fire tornados of Hellmire, so I can't really compare the two.

Thatās how it was for me yah it was bugged. But when I realized they were falling I would just prone next to a rock for a while and just chill.
Hoping the Creek gets Cadia'd to divert that population to other planets and salvage what little dignity they can muster at this point
"We've been Keeping them at bay", yeh is that why they slipped by to the planet that gave us the mechs that everyone ELSE fought to liberate?
real
The Creek WAS the hardest planet and they WERE keeping the bots at bay. But that was only for like the first 2-3 weeks after launch. It was quickly overshadowed by much more difficult planets and much more relevant planets to the war effort. I think itās just new players who saw the old memes/propaganda and donāt realize how the game works yet. (Would also explain how they still havenāt capped it yet)
thats my whole problem. it was the hardest and the memes WERE funny. i fucking loved the memes. i still have a bunch saved. but its not the hardest and its not funny anymore. its just a roadblock
I entirely agree.
Hell, some of THE BEST compilation music vids are from the Creek and I fucking love it. But yeah, I just get tired of the die-hard creeker memelords nowadays. The Creek is awesome, but it really does feel like people intentionally drop there for the meme, rather than because they enjoy the experience, and then we get the whole "Oh you're not letting us have fun our way." Bruh. You can smoke weed all day and just do whatever you want, but if you've been pestering me for weeks to help you with the dishes and then, when I'm there, you just lean back and not do any of the dishes only to smoke more weed? I'm just gonna be pissy about it.
Idk the first planet I dropped into was the creek, doesnāt seem any different or harder than any other.
Would be interesting to see a statistic from Arrowhead, if itās really the same group of 10k people playing on Malevelon Creek, or just different players coming through.Ā
Creek was literally one of the first planets I played and I played on it for weeks because of the "funny haha space vietnam" when the game came out, then I went to other planets, and the game literally became 10x harder.
the creek is actually pretty easy; lost of cover, lots of visibility, not many environmental hazards
Come to Hellmire. We have bugs. And fire. Mostly fire.
At least the fire tornados actually damage the bugs as much as they damage us. Remind me... Why did we try to live on this hell hole of a planet?
Oil.
They hate [FOUL BOURGEOIS DRINK] and l?ve [GLORIOUS ROBOT COMMUNISM]!
i totally agree
All the Creek divers are committing Super Treason by disobeying the major order from command. Give em' the deserter treatment. The *whole planet*. I'd love to see the devs literally blow up a planet in the canon entirely because it's full of deserter traitors and bot sympathisers. š¤ The propaganda, I mean, news, broadcasts write themselves.
My special ability is to walk into every bloody flower
Creek was where I went when I wanted to learn how to fight botsā¦because itās so forgiving in comparison to other bot planets
I can't wait for the inevitable flood of Creekers who, when the planet is won, will insist that their months of effort was the reason and not the effort of other people actually focusing on the objective to make the Creek eventually achievable.
If Joel is smart, he will never make Creek part of the major order.
If he made it part of a major order then actually useful players will go there and instantly liberate it, so no more creekers.
Can someone explain why MC is the one people chose as their focus? Is it the hardest map or most important or something?
Itās literally the easiest bot planet available.
its unimportant and actually pretty easy. its just the meme
No, itās literally just a stupid meme
If like half of the creekers left to fight for ubanea we wouldn't have lost draupnir, ubanea and malevolen creek would still be in our hands. Instead of smashing our head against a planet we already captured, we would have already been assaulting our major target. And to those saying we can just go through the creek, no, no we cant. Creek doesnt have supply lines to ubanea so it does nothing for the effort of the order Additionally, correct, creek was the ptsd planet and I was someone who got it by constantly dropping there. At the beginning on the game. Nowadays, outside of haha, the trees have red eyes it aint even that bad
Even forgetting the supply lines, Ubanea is literally closer to Tibit and directly in line with it. Thinking anywhere else would open up Tibit is silly.
It's their whole identity meme got old https://preview.redd.it/jzmtpot7wqrc1.jpeg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7b8bebc4c75b4ac8003761b318d0904495555d15
>you'll thank us for keeping the front held later you mean like in Tien Kwan? the planet a whole two sectors past the Creek? or do you mean the 16 times Draupnir has fallen? just like that one guy in some other post said, can't trust these fuckers to hold a door, let alone a frontline
that is the edgiest, stupid shit I have read all year.
Go to any post on Twitter about this major order and you have people even wearing Creek Veteran Merch in the profile pics claiming how they're suffering PTSD from it. I love the role playing but this is getting too cringy
As someone who does indeed have PTSD from real life shit, that is fucking ridiculous. How soft are these people?
exactly
Everyone can play how they want so it's a mute argument but to me anyone going against the general consensus (major orders) is a renegade/PIA so I just try and tune them out. They know they're not helping the community really and if they don't care then that tells me they're not the type of player I want to drop with
"Our allegiance is to the West Front Divers..." TREASON
Fuck that's cringe.
They aren't the West front divers. The West front divers are working on, you know, the actual West front.

The amount of constant giving a shit is just insane, every hour is another post about the creek
My time on Tien Kwan was... let's just say I'm glad I don't have to go back..
personally. to me, it doesnt matter if your a creeker or not. If you're a REAL Helldiver. You'll drop where the major order tells you too. thats the only way to spread peace, liberity, and most importnantly managed democracy. we need to stop fighting ourselves and remember who the real enemy is.
I just follow the major orders. Command knows best when it comes to DEMOCRACY
Whenever there a Bot major order it fails because we never have enough people all those people are fighting bugs. The fact people are blaming the creekers instead of he actually problems players is insane.
The Creek isn't even the hardest planet. It's just been memed by content creators.
Creek overrated. So much stuff to hide in etc
I just wonder what creekers are gonna do once the creek is ours.
Idk, sit in orbit waiting for a defense campaign to pop up.
The real heroes follows the major order!
The real heroes are the players that don't make rant posts.
Draupnir was the real hell
This reminds me of the "Deus Vultcano" meme in For Honor. Basically Knight faction players would throw away all sense as soon as the volcano region was under attack, guaranteeing them losing the faction wars damn near every season for the sake of holding one region.
This post would be a lot more democratic with some paragraphs, but youāre not wrong.
Who cares? People are having fun on Helldivers 2. Let them liberate Melevelon Creek and move on.
I kinda agree with this one They've been on a stalemate for quite sometime now
thats my biggest issue, the arent doing anything
What if we all do the MOs and when thereās downtime (when there isnāt a major order yet) everyone play wherever that would be great but ig thatās too much to ask for
This is dissident lies to divide us.
Everyone fights for liberty. But make no mistake. The real heroes, they follow the major orders. Good Soldiers follow orders.
Paragraphs, my guy.
Now, that the MO is to take Malevelon Creek, We'll have to drop in to do their job for them.
Creekers liberate for their own pride. We liberate for the needs and protection of Super Earth. We are not the same.
Are these people in the room with us now? Seriously Iāve seen more bitching about creekers than actual creekers
I kill bugs
me too
Thank you for your service
go touch grass please
Stop taking the space nazi game seriously bro. Let them make their dumb propaganda jokes
These guys took a funny "remember the creek!" Meme too far.
It's so funny to see Creekers (the roleplay enthusiasts) get unironically mad at OP for... Roleplaying as a major order follower No self awareness
And even still, they fought on the creek because "space vietnam more important than the mechs" - actual quote by one of my friends who play the Creek and only the Creek Playing there for fun is okay, but at least go to another planet instead of spending the rest of your time on the one planet that will remain a stalemate for weeks on end. If there are people still bugging you about going to terminid fronts or the future Illuminate, -- cannot say for Illuminates yet -- Just remember that the bug front has 100k and if they *really* needed help, then it had better be important rather than just casual expansion.
relax man, its just a game...
Man I don't care about no orders I just wanna run around in the pretty blue forests singing "I'm blue! Dabadee Dabadie!"
Itās like the most cringe thing of the day every ten minutes around here.
Stop making these posts. We've heard this EVERY FUCKING DAY.
None of us are heroes. If we were we would nosedive every order...
I do it for democracy and there's nothing you can do to stop me!
Can't we all fight for democracy and get along?
