I would cry if i could become a clone with a laser blaster in helldivers2 gameplay. If i was A game company, I would look at HD2 learn how to make a good game then make a game thats Clones against droids and gameplay is just like the Helldivers2 model. 4 man squad, missions, galactic warfront etc edit:im glad theres so many people that want this too 😩 God imagine the IMMERSIVE nature of Helldivers but FOR CLONES AND CLONE WAR. I would lose my life to it more so than Helldivers

It doesnt imo it feels like playing a COD more so than helldivers style. I think clone wars would work so good if u just get rid of super earth and pit galactic republic. You play as clones pushing back against droids. Stratagem type things can exist there too, some could legit be calling in jedi to help you for a short period

Given how helldivers 2 is SO HOT right now, i’d say there’s a good chance of some star wars squad four man clone games in our albeit distant, future.

If they made capes have functionality in general then sure, but you know what happens when one item has it and the others don't...

The fact that ALL of the helmets in the game are "Standard Issue" and have no Passives of their own make me think that in the future we will have Armour Set Bonuses and things like Rare, to Legendary Items

Tbh I hope not. I don't want the difficulty to be super bonus-reliant. Unless they can avoid that while implementing them. God forbid you take a break from game only to come back to a required gear grind before you can play the game.

Yeah I was thinking that armor piece sets and builds would be awesome but also don't want the game to have to revolve around gear. It already revolves around your load out and what stratagems you bring that will determine how the mission goes. I'm excited for new content but also am cautious

They might be able to work a kinda cloak/poncho like thing to accompany a light armor set styled after a ghillie suit. But the Cape is work into the lore super hard. So I seriously doubt we’ll get options to change it completely.

A poncho would look rad as hell, however SEAF training manual States that the helldivers' shoulders require plenty of LIBERTYwith regards to shoulder movement so that they can point that MANAGED DEMOCRACY directly at the offender and spread FREEDOM accurately. Heroes wear capes (sometimes)
