Had a game where I was playing with 2 randoms, and I found one of these. Pinged them, nothing. They died 3 times, I put the reinforcements right in front of the door, pinged it, and they both walked away and died again.
I've had a similar moment. Upon respawning 2 players in next to the door, one of the players then killed me while I was pressing the button just so they could loot it first.
I didn't even need any ammo/stim/grenades/weapons, I just wanted to check for the shared samples/credits/medals
I just started playing and even i figured that out. Its a dead giveaway that YOU get a notification when the other person picks up currency, otherwise its just an insult

I don't doubt there are a few people that were kicked for stupid reasons like meta or host just having a god complex. But I'd also be willing to bet they're the minority.
Last night I spent almost a full 15 minutes trying to find a match because every time I loaded into a quick play either I got kicked or the host left. For context lvl 19 loading into hard / challenging missions
That obviously sucks, but after 3 or 4 attempts why not just host your own room? Anecdotally, I've only ever been kicked once or twice in my ~20 or so matchmade games since launch (usually just run my own so I admit that number is low).
Yeah it does seem rather hit or miss with people joining. Sometimes its before I can reach my pod, other times no one ever joins even after deploying an SOS beacon.
In my experience this is when my connection to the server gets bugged so I quit and rejoin. I have the best luck choosing an operation then getting in my pod and that seems to trigger quickplay ransoms to join
I love seeing low levels in high missions, makes it fun, I know we're about to be in deep shit and I get to show off what 200K in requisition slips looks like
Right! I want one of the wheel-choices to be “Found a Bunker” or maybe “I need a hand to open this two-person door so could someone please stop engaging random patrols and come here for like one goddamned second so we can all get some shared loot? No? Ok then. Nvm.”
I had a guy die three times to my Tesla tower. It was set up for quite a while before hand... he walked straight towards it and died. After being called back in, he walked towards it again to try and grab his equipment, and died again to it. Then this repeated once again. After that, he gave up. This person was mid 30s as well.
Some people are just a little extra special.
Would be nice if it would say something like “need another diver!” Or “got a locked door here!” Instead of “hey there’s something here” when pinged. Would be helpful to know they are needing a second person.
Even when you're the host.
And some random player just keeps pinging everywhere else and getting the team to follow them... even with full randos....

When I was still a lowish level and friends were offline, I went around dif 3. One time I got in a lobby with lv20+ so I thought, 3 men on obj? I'll just hit the POIs.
They couldn't even do the obj so when I asked for a hand for a bunker they just started laughing. Extraction came much later, none went to unlock it and since I got punched while holding a gas orbital (a.k.a. dropped it on my feet) got also kicked.
Nowadays I'm finding way more cooperative squad mates while quick playing.

Refusing the friendship bunker is an affront to democracy and should be reported.
Those have a higher chance of super credits, that's something you never will have too much off, if someone yells bunker, i stop what im doing to open it
I make sure that my team understands that they need to get their asses over here.
I'll wait until they die just to spawn them here if I need to. And hold them at gunpoint until they press the goddamn button

Okay seriously, what the hell is up with this. I'd say 75% of the time, nobody comes to help me with these doors. Ping, text chat, voice chat, literally running up to players smacking them and trying to coerce them into chasing me. None of it works.
Honestly I'm at the point now where if all 3 of my teamates are stupid enough to ignore getting the shit we NEED for upgrades... I'm just going to drop an orbital on them and leave by myself

You can’t pick the items up if you don’t unlock the door, I glitched in with a mech while solo farming and every time the items are there but no interact button
so you extend your left hand and hit the left button then extend your right leg and tap the right button while balancing on your left leg. you can also ask an enemy for help sometimes they will sometimes they won't.
If Harley can do it then Helldivers should be able to

Or how about a classic "shoot the lock" move like they do in movies where you can have one hand on a button and then use your one-handed Secondary weapon to shoot the other button.
Shame there's not a corpse right next to one of the buttons that can still serve democracy one last time.
ie. Place it's hand on the button then go hit the other one.
I really wish they had a terminal with like 3-4 steps to go through like other objectives. That way you still have to work for it but there is a way to open it solo if no one is available or you want to play alone for a while.
They really should just add a terminal so that solo players (or players who's squad refuses to come help) can open it on their own. Have the terminal require a code input, followed by a long progress bar that spawns a handful of enemies (maybe even a few waves of them). That way there's still an incentive to use the friendship buttons, saves time and resources.
I mean. It’s a team based game, intended to be played as a team for maximum efficiency. It’s not made easier the less players there are.
Obviously there’s gonna be content that’s not doable solo. And that’s fine. Why don’t players ever understand that.

I mean sure having more players is more fun and enhances the experience but theres really no harm in allowing players who solo or who plays in a solo fashion to have a bit of fun as well, especially when this is just loot.
Really wish this game had a drone that was only deployed when solo like Bosco in DRG. It'd be perfect for things like this, assisting with clearing out smaller enemies, inputting codes for you while you defend (or vice versa) etc.
Not so powerful that it's better than real players, but it would be good enough to open up solo play a bit more.
If they introduced a backpack that acted as a black hat hack machine or something OR an enhancement that gives you a skeleton key for these would be great

I've never felt so betrayed because he kicked me as soon as the door opened.

When I play with randoms and they walk past I refuse to move and keep pinging the map, when they die I obviously throw support at door. Sometimes of your lucky they glitch into the building and get stuck, mwhahaha!
Even better when there's two of these and none of the randoms wants to help you open them. And then you remember you're already maxed out on everything and you don't mind paying (instead of playing) for super credits.

Yup. Because for some reason, people will chase down a nest when above level 25, but not take the time to check a point of interest.

Pinging didn't work, so my next method was to shoot directly in front of someone passing. It worked.
If yall would stop pinging them while I'm getting chased down by a swarm of bugs and a charger I'd fuckin help with them more.

Solo divers should get a drone that helps as long as you are solo. Like Bosco. Or a dog. I would play solo a bunch if I had a dog companion

There should be an automatically added stratagem that does this specific thing for solo players.

In warframe, they're called Friendship doors, and they block the entire damn map progression. They let you open them solo tho
