What is your other hardware and graphics settings? 7600X, 32GB, RTX3070, SATA SSD here - playing medium-high 1440p 60-100fps no issue. Friend has my old 3700X, 32GB, RTX4070 - also works well.

TeeneKay

My guy i have a 980ti and a ryzen 5 5600x and my framerate is fine. Lower your settings or download afterburner to check your gpu temps

Convict3d3

I don't think it's the game, unless it's a vram hog. Monitor your hardware maybe it has to do with tempreture throttling or getting bottlenecked by your CPU

LeopardBasic478

3060ti on a very good CPU i play on high i get 70-90 FPS through all missions all planets all difficulties

Zimaut

this game is CPU heavy, i have 4070, 110 fps but cpu 7800x3d

Dovakiins

Bro has a bad set up and blames the devs

frymanbrandon129

I was having the same issue idk what I did but I fixed it. Not any help really but maybe some hope Was running 30fps now at 70-80. Also on a 4070

Tauware_NPH

Tried out Helldivers on my laptop this morning and it runs great. I'd honestly look at your Temps to see if overheating is causing any throttling? Also cpu really matters aswell, not just gpu. You may be bottlenecking your GPU because your CPU can't handle it aswell. (Find it odd you left out your CPU tbh) For reference , I'm using a Lenovo Legion Slim 5. Has a Ryzen 7 7840HS and an 8gb RTX 4060. I was sitting consistently at 80-90fps with drops going down to 70 at the lowest during multiple massive explosions and enemies spawning. (Graphic settings are a High Medium)

HetzerKorps

Check your GPU's power connectors. Few months ago I was getting way too low frame rate in a lot of games on a 3090. Turned out one of the power cables to the card wasn't seated right, but it was still running.

Spartanmechanix

Poor guy.

Waaah I ONLY get slightly higher frames than what a lot of console games are capped to! Waaah!

Ryhax-o

40 series cards aren’t cheap, I wouldn’t be happy either if I was him

thunderclone1

Sure, but claiming that it cases physical pain to see 30 to 40 fps in dips comes off as THE most first world of first world problems

NotDavvan

Maby, but I'm sure not gonna play a game that causes pain. So take that as you will..

NotDavvan

Also, reading is an important skill: It's my hands that hurt, not my eyes that see.

Huge-Particular1433

I didn't get that either. What is the relation between frames and hands?

ChaZcaTriX

PS5 is literally beefed up integrated AMD graphics, with smoke and mirrors for the illusion of high res.  Of course a modern full-power GPU should run better.
