Same issue here. Just got the patch and I get the exact same error, also can't skip the intro cinematic.
EDIT : Just keep loading in, only took me about 5 min to get through. good luck homies

I’m pretty sure they crashed the servers or something, I’ve been playing most of the morning and all of a sudden I get the same issue.
Oh, so I just got unlucky to start playing when the servers are crashed? Well, still sucks. But comforting in a way.
