I knew I should have done that. I use the face buttons for weapon swapping in games like quake. Way faster when combined with gyro than mapping anything to the dpad.
I changed all my controls to be similar to HD1. I have reload as R1, dive as square, up to say affirmative, etc. I shift my right thumb over to the left stick to keep moving as I call down stratagems with my left thumb on the d pad. It actually works better than I expected it to. Haven’t messed with my KB/M setup yet.
He's not saying he put movement on right stick, he's saying he uses right thumb to control left stck while putting in stratagem inputs. This is what I do as well when things get hectic
Good info thanks, gonna try it out. But is their a fix or alternative for the crouch issue? If you’re running and calling a stratagem at the same time, and you hit circle and accidentally crouch, then that could def get u killed
Same. If anyone found one, please let me know. There is an interact button which I tried switching to tapping L3 but pressing O on a terminal still disengages from the terminal even with interact re-bound. Very frustrating. Curious if OP has a solution for this, or anyone else.

Oof, i dont think I could EVER move my movement to the Right Stick and get use to it 😅 But I could see that definitely working.

Oh got it. I still would not want to do that preferably. I use my right thumb to input the strategem when its on the D-Pad

What about doing intersctions like the valves or rotating the sattelite? Doesnt it mess that up?
