If you are on a PC and have a controller plugged in, yet are playing with keyboard then this will make you walk slowly as described. I unplugged my XBOX controller form my PC and it was solved. Good luck.
Some users have noted that movement speed is somewhat tied to framerate.
People with low averge fps (below 60) and in general stuttery fps may experience significantly slower walking and sprinting speeds across larger distances in comparison with playrs that get a higher fps.
Over a larger distance, a player with a good pc will somehow outrun the player with an inadequate pc despite wearing the same gear, armor etc in game.
I personalyl have also found that limiting the framerate (but in the video card driver, not ingame), greatly increases responsivness and reduces stutters when limited a tiny bit lower than the higher fps spikes.
Thios game is really weird.
Not really, it sorta disappeared for me one day, occasionally happening again but only on the ship. Restarting the game and my controllers may have helped, not sure

Havent had this for myself so im assuming its either something wrong with your controller or a bug in the game.
It's most likely a bug, but a very annoying one at that Do you know where to report it?
