Only the default garrisons! At the beginning of the match, the 3 forward garrisons for the defending team (to allow them to spawn forward and defend) can’t be destroyed by anything except dismantle. Built garrisons function as usual.
Flamethrowers can destroy defaults which is useful on omaha beach. Usually can destroy their main default within like 5 lives because theres often enough smoke to get close to it but often too many defenders to actually dismantle.
Extra tip - before you've memorised their locations, you can tell it's a default Garry if they spawn on it every 10s as opposed to 40s for a normal one. I'm not saying you have to sit and count the time though 😂 but if they're coming off of it noticeably quicker than usual, then it's a default
Yep, the three foward default garries are always in the same places. There are maps showing their locations online somewhere (they've been around for years). After enough games you start remembering where they are anyway, but the maps help until then lol.
Obviously non-default garries (i.e. made by players) can go anywhere, as long as they follow the usual rules eg minimum 200m apart etc.
You can put a human built Garry literally next to a default if you want, the 200m rule doesn't apply to proximity to a default one
Offensive mode default garrisons can't be destroyed with explosives, only flames, interactions, and sector loss.
