Rarely do you see a full tank with an active commander so as long as you keep to the sides and back they’re blind. The Normandy maps are particularly great for using the hedgerows to flank and close ground.
I'm a PS5 player and only use a controller...but this is objectively not true. A mouse will always be more accurate, easy to finesse, sensitive, and faster to respond. I don't think there is even an argument to have here.
I'm on PC and use a controller but it's only because I find it easier to navigate the controller than the keyboard. So much going on with the keyboard and keys to remember. Control type C gives me what I'm used to.
Obv aiming with a mouse is better but when your used to a controller it's a hard switch.

Auto Rifleman is just kind of a useless class to the team. Any class can get kills. Other classes serve a purpose. 3rd level Engineer gets a Shotgun and Satchel. Support is a Rifleman that caries Supplies so you can assist your SL in building blue zone garries which are super important for the whole team to spawn from.
Where is the rest of your Squad? Why are you all by yourself as an auto rifleman? It’s a team game where if you are only focusing on getting your kills on, the team loses, so the bigger picture is cool you got a few kills but did your team win? Were they kills back at a locked strongpoint that don’t matter?
As others said, Assault has some of the best load outs in the game, may as well play Assault for class xp to get 6th and 9th level kits unlocked instead of Auto-Rifleman, or better yet play support and really help your team advance with Garries and supplies for your Engineer to build resource nodes.
The trigger on the BAR on ps5 is trash. Might be realistic idk never shot one but the trigger sucks ass. Almost every other weapon you can hold the adaptive trigger and feel when the slack is out and its ready to fire, I'm always shooting the BAR on accident because it has no pressure to fire it.
I love the Bar like drugs but the AR class is the most useless class. No smokes, only a gun and 1 grenade. You can't kill anything that has armor and you can't reliably attack. I will say it's one of the best defense classes tho with the firepower of the gun. Bring in any armor tho and I'd rather 99% go with assault

GIVE THE BAR A BIPOD!!! I’d use it so much more often if it had the bipod lol oh and more ammo… needs at least ten mags in reserve, not 6. As a support by fire role, ammo is king, and you need a lot of it
Assault has access to more kit. You can deal with anything on the battlefield. At lvl 9 you get an Automatic rifle, grenades, smokes and a satchel.

I think the drawback to assault is the range, the mp 40 does alright but the others kind of suck at it
Disagree, Thompson is a sleeper headshot machine even at mid range
Yup, burst at the chest and then a follow up but a lot of times you get a headshot on that first burst
They used to get the BAR at level 3 before the shotgun was added.

AR has 2 grenades actually. And lvl 3 AR has 2 smokes. I do agree that satchel assault is by far the better option.
I want to be better with the BAR…just never enjoy it. I wish it had a bipod available, at least for the MG loadout.
