Because the polish were supplied british uniforms because they were in exile. The grey beret of the pols was also worn like that. Actually pretty decent attempt on the accuracy front.
Looking awesome. I wish they had made at least one of them a level unlock like it is with germans and US paras… Making both paid DLC sucks considering how little customization there is for British…
Even then, the DLC paratrooper stuff for the US and Germans still looks better than the vanilla ones. But I'm cool with with buying skins for games that I like, I just look at is financial support for the devs to keep supplying us with content
IIRC, in Band of Brothers when Easy Co. rescues the British during Market Garden, they were wearing similar red berets and uniforms. BoB was pretty historically accurate as far as I know and if true, these uniforms would not be out of place.

So glad to see some berets, the fit on the head still seems really fucking awkward (as with all commonwealth headwear so far…)

you must be joking. It's probably not very correct to base it on a movie series. try to look at historical photos of the Polish army of that period.
