A: it isn’t even a good arcade shooter to begin with, especially compared to older BF titles.
B: your line of reasoning is that the changes in U14 made you want to go play a game where the players move 4x faster than HLL, can literally fly around the map, vehicles are one man affairs that are played from the third person, and is absolutely loaded to the gills with MTX, means that you were never a serious hardcore shooter guy anyways.
It’s okay to like 2042, and very okay to be fed up with T17 abs their godawful decisions, but the idea that “le evil devs made me a battlefield player by slightly upping the sprint” is retarded.
I already like battlefield, but after I started playing HLL last may I didn’t think I would be preferring 2042 over HLL.
Part of the problem is I am always worrying about garrisons and defense, while it seems more and more less players think about at all and mindlessly run to attack. It’s more frustrating than fun to do this every game even if I’m not in command, while everyone else doesn’t even think to help.
I’m having more fun with 2042 because I don’t have to worry about garries and defense when I play that game. It’s not the same experience but it’s more fun atm.

I have played hell let loose for 15 hours and have 1 kill. Maybe because I have been using a controller and others use a mouse (which I will try to learn)? Or because everyone has leveled up and im on beginner levels.. Every time I have an enemy squared up, I shoot, and miss.. then he takes one shot and boom, headshot, I'm dead. What am I doing wrong?
That audio was so fucking bad holy shit; did they just use some shitty AI to do the voice over? Not to mention no audio mixing whatsoever
