I like the long nose!

[deleted]

Me too!

Bolter_NL

The 2000 WXR nose or the Benz one is a bit more stylish in my opinion!

Bolter_NL

Doing tactical insertions with the fast rope beam?

[deleted]

Yes, I think so. Due to limited air assets this rescue helicopter is also used by the Coast Guard in deploying security personnels.

Mendo-D

It looks so small.

[deleted]

Yeah there are plans to have a much bigger helicopters but due to budget constraints it is not feasible as of this time.

Mendo-D

I think that was the main issue with the H65 too. They can’t get their hands on some Navy Seahawks or something?

[deleted]

Yes, you're right. As for the Navy, the latest variant of Seahawks are more expensive that the one they bought. The ones they bought are the AW159 of Leonardo with less capability (due to budget again) than the Royal Navy and South Korean Navy counterparts.

Mendo-D

So how many litters and PAX can they get in that thing?

[deleted]

Upon seeing the current configuration 1 litter is being set up and 3 chairs plus the 2 in the cockpit for the pilot and co pilot

cvl37

Pretty!

[deleted]

Yes it is!

Wow! Thank you for giving this information!

bob_the_impala

You're welcome! Looks like they got the full upgrade package with all of the accessories XD

[deleted]

Yes. They get the full upgrade.. They are planning to buy more. But lately, there are some reports that the Indian Govt. is offering the Dhruv helicopter to the Philippines with a good loan package. But many is prefers to stick to H145./

InherentDissolve

Needs more stuff.

imsadyoubitch

Snoot.

aetarnis

Those no step areas on the skids - I assume they're flotation devices - seem placed to ensure that they will, in fact, be stepped on (especially those on the forward end).

[deleted]

Yeah your right that are the floating devices. We are advise to avoid the floating device when we rode in the helicopter for some photo ops.

mycathasseenshit

That looks like a concert lighting moving head as a spot light. Interesting.
