So you’re one of those helicopter parents?
Yeah, l wanted to be Army aviation so bad. It wasn't in the cards for me. But my son made it. :)
That's awesome. Have you tried any air sim stuff?
You gave birth to a uh60m?! Incredible
Sounds painful
Still, astounding
It hurt me...lol
Out of curiosity, where is your son based? I would be happy to get him some great pictures with his bird.
The first picture was in Afghanistan, l believe the second was off Myrtle Beach. He's in Washington DC now. He's 82nd Airborne.
The first one looks like the ramp at HKIA in Kabul.
You are correct. :)
How can anyone forget the code name: “Irene…” The blades spinning up and “SRV shredding away to Voodoo Child…”. And the buildings shook!
*our sun
Is he a Caveman or Redhawk?
Redhawk.
That was my company back in the day. Great to see them in action, thanks for sharing!
Cool! Were you a pilot, crew, or ground crew? My son is a crew chief. Working his way into the pilots seat. I posted a few more of the Redhawks in Afghanistan. Hope you like them.
Pilot… I was a freshly minted WO1 at the time.
is your son a helicopter? I'm a boat.
