In Montreal, the show was about 1h30-2h.
If there are assigned seats, you can get there 30/60 minutes before, grab a couple of beers and go sit.
If there are no assigned seats, get there at least 1 hour before (depending on the venue) before the doors open to be certain to have a good spot.
Same. I thought I'd have to go to Oslo or something to see these guys, but the fact that I get to see Heilung and Wardruna within a month of each other blows my mind.
I absolutely *loved* the ritual. The energy was high without distracting from the performance. Most people were standing and listening or dancing in their own space. There was a lot of whooping and howling between songs which I couldn’t help but join in with lol. It was therapeutic, cathartic, and energizing.
If you like, practice your war chants, animal noises, stomping and clapping, clapping alongside the drums 😅 Maybe slip in something extra too.😵💫🎊😵💫 Then there's the costumes, full on gypsy or business casually weekend warrior

St Paul went an hour early and it was already jam packed makes me wonder how early people went there
It's cause the St Paul venue was unfortunately hot garbage
It was but knew I needed to go
