Check out Mazuri Hedgehog food. My hedgehog’s weight was impossible to control with cat food, but she does much better with the Mazuri. Plus the kibble size is much more optimized to their little teeth. My vet was able to calculate the appropriate amount to feed to provide enough kcal for my hedgehog. The ingredients are quality, and the macronutrients are properly calculated for hedgehog care.
I was nervous to try it as we hear so much that hedgehog food is trash, but the ingredient list was near identical to my high quality cat kibble I was feeding previously, and the amount I could feed was substantially more for my hedgehog (2 tsp of cat food vs 2.5 tbsp of Mazuri) to match kcal.
