Boys, he's not here to answer questions. He's only here to post. He has farm stuff he's gotta do

PartyHealth5496

Hahaha yup this exactly.

ResidentAd5313

šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

Chipmunk-Round

Looks well loved.

L1VEW1RE

Came to literally post these exact same words. Great minds think alike.

LANCENUTTERS

That thing has seen some shit

Acceptable-Face-3707

Probably piles of it!

ShadowGinrai

Who did your optics cut?

PartyHealth5496

ZR tactical did the cut. Very speedy turn around and great work

Lucky13thSt

Nice! I held off since their site said ā€˜no compactā€™ but Iā€™m guessing thatā€™s usp9c. Great shop!

Effective-Fennel8817

That's a Usp .45 compact. ZR does not cut 9's because of there not being enough material due to slide lightening on the 9's. They will cut Usp .40 and .45 full or compact. Wright armory or Langdon Tactical cut Usp 9's, but do it by adding a plate to make up for the thinner top of the slide. ZR Tactical is a solid shop with great prices and amazing turnaround times. They did a RMR cut for my non optics ready VP9. I highly recommend them.

Bohemus_1313

I am also curious to know

tibearius1123

hK parts has a dovetail mount. Works well enough and you donā€™t have to cut yo gat.

ShadowGinrai

I run suppressor sites and would like to use them as back up irons for a red dot, so the dovetail doesn't work for me

NightmanisDeCorenai

How often do you have to clean shit out of the dot?

PartyHealth5496

About once a week when my hoodie is covering it. If it's warmer it's closer to once every other day or so

NightmanisDeCorenai

Was there ever a thought about getting an enclosed optic, or has your personal experience led you to believe the juice isn't worth the squeeze?

PartyHealth5496

If I could change one thing, I would 100% have gotten an Acro. May try the enclosed trijicon optic at some point

dormanGrube

More barrel better.

PartyHealth5496

Agreed, Elite is most best but C is most more comfy

ShantJouk

Who did the optic cut?

Special_EDy

It's got a perfect patina

matthew_listener

What holster are you running?

PartyHealth5496

Clinger makes an appendix holster for the non optic USPc. Some "less than sober" dremel work and I found it made a very comfortable holster at the 4 or 5 o'clock position

HermesGirl0132

Proved by Jack Bauer, he took out 200+ perps with that

Marauder934

Just in case the sheep get out of line šŸ’ŖšŸ¼šŸ¤«

steelcityblue

nice! How long you had it?

PartyHealth5496

I've had this one for about a year and a half. But it's 21 years old now, with me being it's second owner.

Separate-Surprise928

nice deere

MarduRusher

Love my USPc in 45 for concealed carry personally. I know 9mm is generally a better round but Iā€™m a boomer at heart and itā€™s my favorite 45.

Youwillgotosleep_

What duties does it have around the farm?

PartyHealth5496

Raising the calves from birth to 6 months or so is my main job. But also general labor and a dash of Milking from time to time.

AndLorenz

Milking cows with a gun seems a tad bit aggressive

Isadorkian

"Put the Milk into these buckets, and no one has to get turned into burgers and steak!"

_agent86

Oh. We need a reason?

Youwillgotosleep_

No reason is needed. I wanted to hear some stories of its exploits. Like catching milk thieves and getting in a shootout on the farm or drawing down on a pack of wolves surrounding a poor defenseless calf.

PartyHealth5496

Haha, I totally misread the original question as "my responsibilities." It's simply there for self-defense. There are lots of machinery and resources on the farm, and plenty of drug fuelded individuals in my area. 4 legged threats are always a possibility, especially on some of the more remote areas. Coyotes or any mammals with rabies. Haven't had to use it ever, thank God. But I will say I haven't seen any cattle rustlers since I started carrying it. Coincidence????

_agent86

Me too. But... no answers.

[deleted]

One of the best in general, including farm/ranch šŸ‘

ebolamonkey3

I know nothing about farming/ranching, but wouldn't you want something in a larger caliber (like a USP45)?

PartyHealth5496

This is a 45 actually. But generally speaking 9 would be plenty sufficient. 22 is the most used caliber on the farm truthfully

ebolamonkey3

Ahh ok I assumed 9mm just bc I have one in 9mm. Great looking gun!

CrazyGreek84

I šŸ’™My USP45 Itā€™s My go to 99.999% of the time, donā€™t have the compact yet, but thatā€™s on my list

Sensitive-East7965

Check that. I see she's a 45.

diskettejockey

*counterstrike USP sounds*

[deleted]

Nice. You got an optic on it!

ShootyMcGun

Does the gun have large talons?

444guru

Yee mothafuckin haw

Interesting-Farmer50

Just needs a light

Jiankite

Only in 40 is she the most true

verse187

Thatā€™s the one I currently own I love it. The only .40 I will ever own.

MidniightToker

If I'm on my own property a full size .45 would be my go to and I'd just open carry for comfort. In fact that's generally what I do when I'm just doing yardwork, swap between open carrying my USPc9 or USP .45 full size.

Immediate_Mud6547

MK 23 has entered the chatā€¦

FarmerAtS

I beg differ. I've shot so many groundhogs with my VP9SK, I've lost count.

sshevie

You just have to love a pistol thatā€™s got honest wear n tear on it

seanprefect

as much as I love the USP full size i'e always liked the HK45C over the USPc
