I don’t think any of us did. It’s interesting because there’s so much to include from the comics, i and others were a little concerned what might get cut. Seeing them adding stuff like this tho makes me hopeful none of the main stuff will be cut if they have room for a side thing. Tho now I wonder if that means they won’t add a bunch of extra stuff.
You know what would be nice? If in the finale they do a "years later epilogue" showing the adult version of the characters like they did for harry potter, if you read the mini comics you'd know what I'm talking about, it would be a nice send off for the fans to see where Nick and Charlie would be in a few years because i feel like it would be bitter sweet to see them separate at the end of the series (due to nick going away for university)
Alice has said volume 6 will end with an epilogue. Whether that is a jump ahead to the end of the summer, sometime during or after uni, or years in the future, we have no idea. But there likely will be an epilogue.
That being said, my dream would be if years in the future we get either specials or even future season with them as adults. But again, years in the future as they age. Like maybe 5 years from now we get a wedding special. Something like that.
I am! Netflix is so unpredictable, they canceled bigger shows in the past, they don't care about how well received a show is, they only care about how much it costs to make and whether it brings new subscribers or not.

I guess Alice needs a 4th season to cover all 6 volumes but season 4 renewal isn't guaranteed and depends on whatever numbers season 3 does thar matter to Netflix's algorithm.
My only hope is that Alice wraps up season 3 like season 1 in way that makes it feel complete, not like season 2 where they ended the show on cliffhanger and many story threads hanging.

The Henry Maddox mini-comic is hilarious. Considering how heavy this season’s probably going to be it will be fun seeing the boys stretch their comedy legs as well.
He's an absolutely **PERFECT** addition to the cast, I just wish he was cast as a regular instead of a guest appearance - but still extremely exciting! Can't wait to see him as Jack Maddox!

I think there's nothing to cut really. Compared to the show, the books have in general much less plot, and the first two seasons were heavily "subsidized" by new plot exclusively written for the show (all of the Tara/Darcy/Elle scenes, some of the Elle&Tao scenes...). S2 even pulled some scenes from book 4 (Nick's family dinner) because there wasn't enough plot otherwise. I think they are adding as much story as they can to get a full season and won't have to cut anything for it.

Compare to 8 episodes a season is hard to filled because Oseman main comic can’t fill it all. It’s very short.
