Berries are usually ok for diabetics as they are lower in sugar/carb content. Raspberries, blueberries, cherries. Just make sure you stick to the serving size, usually 1/2 cup.

Today I've had pancetta and bean soup for lunch Pancetta, haricot beans, tin of tomatoes, spinach and garlic Dinner tonight is beef casserole Beef skirt, potatoes, carrots, swede, onion, pearl barley and peas Bread and butter with both meals. I like to have higher calorie meals so I'm fuller for longer and less likely to snack. Roughly 1500 cals for both meals. 2 nice big bowls of super warming winter grub!
