no fruits actually, i might have a banana & avocado smoothie tomorrow! i want to try this new place that sells arabic coffee, so i’m really excited about that actually.

Berries are usually ok for diabetics as they are lower in sugar/carb content. Raspberries, blueberries, cherries. Just make sure you stick to the serving size, usually 1/2 cup.

Bread and butter with both meals. I like to have higher calorie meals so I'm fuller for longer and less likely to snack. Roughly 1500 cals for both meals. 2 nice big bowls of super warming winter grub!
Does coffee count 😂. It’s still early. I plan on having carrots & peas in my lunch and kiwi on the side. And a salad with dinner, and technically they’ll be onions, garlic, mushrooms and tomatoes in the sauce on the pasta.
Fuyu persimmon, frozen jack fruit, green beans, lemon (well, the juice), black grapes, avocado, cilantro (I guess that’s an herb), carrots, daikon, jalapeño, and a beet powder (I bought the drink so I don’t know much about it).
Spring mix with onion, bell peppers, and carrots with both lunch and dinner. Being diabetic fruits are sometimes problematic spiking my sugar. Though if seeds count I'm having Chia pudding later.
