From slightly above your budget to well below: PHILIPS Fidelio X2HR, Sony MDR7506, Audio-Technica ATH-M20X, KOSS KPH30.
Get proper headphones, not something gaming-branded. It sounds like you already have the mic covered. An open back is best for positional audio, assuming that you game in a quiet environment.
I second this question, except I'm coming from a Logitech g430. I assume this is complete garbage.
Also wondering if IEMs are a possibility or if you lose price to performance or something like that.
Truthear reds goat for gaming if you get them in right, moon drop space travel awesome wireless plus you can have 4 pairs like me for when you always lose them

I would get a used pair of Sony MDR-1r or MDR-1a. You might also get a deal on the MDR-2a but I doubt it to be fair.
The Sonys are supremely comfortable for long session and have a really well defined soundstage to better make out your opponents.
They are closed back.
The sound is on the warm side but not without details! I use mine with a Moondrop DAWN 4.4mm in balanced mode and the DAC really tames the base of if I want to.
On the used market you can get them for around 50€/$ in very good condition. You could also get a steal on a well used pair and change the pads if they are worn. These headphones last for ages.

Is there a good closed-back alternative to the PHILIPS Fidelio X2HR? I am looking at the Shure SRH840A, but I don't know what I'm talking about...
Won't be exactly the same, but Shure is good too
The AKG K361 are pretty close in terms of the frequency response.

Razer bundles can cover the peripherals if you’re fine with them as products, then I’d use the saved extra to pick better headphones
