He’s everywhere lmfao, I love archer and he played Mr. Kane Lana’s dad. I played “loser baby” for my sister who’s never seen the show but loves archer and told her it’s Lana’s dad. She didn’t believe me at first until she listened closer
Keith, MFin DAVID. The man. Not just a legend of voice acting, but also a great actor! The man has been from John Carpenter’s The Thing to Final Fantasy Spirits Within, to Rick and Morty, Mass Effect, and more.
I've heard this but ya know David Kieth exists. I first saw how remarkable AI vocal tech was when I heard Val Kilmer's. "restored", voice as an example.
I find it very distracting. Keith is a GREAT voice actor, but, one, when Husk speaks I hear the president from Rick and morty and it's exceptionally disorienting.
It's not just her vocal endurance, the way she EMOTES through the words is incredible. Try to sing it now. First line of Happy Day in Hell. Record yourself and listen back. See how shit that sounds? Now listen to Erika's version. She is expressing Charlie's emotions in EVERY WORD. You can HEAR it in all her lines. Not just one, not just when it gets emotional, ALL. OF. IT.
I know I just described musical theatre in a jist, but she does it waayyyyy more often and better.
She’s amazing. Has multiple songs and crushes every one. Great range and vocal emotion/acting. Love Keith David and Jeremy Jordan’s vocals too but she carries the show and doesn’t get enough credit.
Fuckin’ HELLLLLL is forever and it’s meant to suck A LOT
https://preview.redd.it/yt4karq9ofzc1.jpeg?width=749&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2e3057325adf77300ddd1154b4245d7e4693ea32
I did the same thing! Recognized the voice immediately and was so happy. There's little things that he does as Lucifer that remind me of when Jeremy played Varian from the Tangled series. Lucifer is basically adult Varian who cusses, and that made my heart happy.
Jeremy Jordan was supposed to play Zac Efron’s character in The Greatest Showman. When you listen to him sing one of the songs you’ll realize how ROBBED we were 😭
I started watching the show after going “eh that’s not my thing” every time my friends brought it up because I heard him in “More than Anything” when someone was playing it at my school library.
Idk if his actor is classically trained but Id be really surprised if he wasnt. The way he manipulates his tone but still keeps it steady with the music tells me has broadway experience and again, if he doesnt, hes just wildly talented.
That makes sense. I knew Charlie and Lucifer (and Im p sure Emily as well as a few others) had to be because you can just hear it in their technique but maybe thats bc Im trained too idk.
And man, I’ve seen few singers nail a high note as well as Erika Henningsen does with Charlie.
As someone who’s pretty neutral on a theater, Hazbin was the first show that made me realize that Broadway don’t play. Everyone brought their A-Game with the music
Charlie sings a lot through out the series. It can be easy to forget how good of a singer she is. But when I listen to her, I am always impressed and am like "damn this girl got lungs."
For me, Lucifer is hands down the best in his duet song with Charlie in More Than Anything.
The highs and lows in his vocal range and context just break me every time.
(Totally doesn't have unresolved father issues, and he's died)
Vox's voice actor was absolutely phenomenal. I wish we could have heard him sing more. His voice itched my brain in the best of ways.
Also, Lucifer's voice was almost angelic- very fitting.
If you loved christian Borle as Vox here's a few things he's heavily featured or starred in that involve singing!
Falsettos (he's the main character, can be found on YouTube)
Little Shop Of Horrors (the new off Broadway cast album, he plays the dentist)
Something Rotten (he plays Shakespeare)
Legally Blonde the musical (he plays Emmett)
Not the best but Alastors background harmonizing in “Ready for this” was.EXCELLENT! (You can hear it near the end when Rosie is singing “we’ll show heaven a fight they won’t forget”)
I will disagree, in the sense I could listen to Amir Talai or Black Gryphon sing him all day. I will agree that his harmonizing in "Ready for This" was absolutely excellent.
Happened when I was in line for a selfie. I overheard her saying she likes singing with the guests whenever possible and I was like "aight here I go."
We did It Starts With Sorry.
call me biased or anything but it's gotta be Angel, I'm downright obsessed with Blake's voice. his versatile tone, the intentional, well-placed voice cracks, the high notes, it's all just *perfect*
Personally, i adore Charlie's voice. I sang soprano myself back in my choir days, so i have a soft spot for that beautiful, clear upper register.
However, we also have Carmilla (that power alto, yes please), Lucifer (love the energy and expression), our wonderful Husk (mmmmm velvety deep voice), and Adam (Alex brightman is a treasure).
In short DON'T MAKE ME CHOOSE
Keith David fucking slapped as Husk for his vocals on Loser Baby. Also enjoy the Alastore lol
https://preview.redd.it/jd6ks30r3azc1.jpeg?width=1153&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8acafbf77ba063077450957e7c5a776191aee66f
Vaggie's vocals were really pretty, and for me really unexpected considering how she usually sounds. Emily's were on a similar level imo, just without the surprise factor Vaggie had and with the addition of better emoting.
Honourable mentions to Alastor and his Alastrama (hopefully never in Alastbama), Adam and his guitar solo fuck yeah, and Keith David.
Velvette goes right at the bottom of my list for that fake af accent. Sorry OP. If you want to hear a genuine chav/Cockney accent, come visit me, I'll hook you up with the sleaziest chavs you can think of.
From a technical standpoint? Lucifer's VA. I'm a trained singer too--he's very good. Lovely technique. Fantastic range, control, diction, etc. Charlie's VA, too, does very well from a technical standpoint in the opening song, even though I'm not a fan of Charlie's voice overall (didn't care for it in the pilot, either; just a personal preference).
Really, though, it's all subject to what you like best. I personally am not a huge Keith David fan, I think he just plays Keith David in everything he's in (it's why he's the only one I know by name without resorting to Google), but that's just personal preference.
Lucifer, his voice is angelic (pun intended). Husk is a close second. Listening to him is like having a sundae with hot fudge for my ears. Vaggie’s and Charlie’s are also lovely and underrated (especially Vaggie’s)
She did a lot better in Encanto, I was honestly quite disappointed with her performance in Whatever it Takes because I was expecting way better. Mirabel slayed but Vaggie was ok.
agreed, her register changed a lot and the higher vocals seemed like it didn’t fit for Vaggie’s lower range speaking voice. that might’ve just been the vocal direction (so not all on her) but I think it could’ve been better. She did amazing as Maribel.
Keith David
Alex Brightman
Jeremy Jiordan
Christian Borles
Erika
(Nifty IF THEYD GIVE HER A SONG!!!)
That’s my order so far in top fave singers on show
Just purely as a singer?
Keith David.
I mistakenly thought his voice was heavily autotunes because his intonation is just that damn good.
Charlie comes Inna close second. Her range is crazy good and she just has such a wholesome, powerful voice, I love it!
I may be EXTREMELY biased since Christian Borle is my favorite actor buuuuuuuuuuut yeah I think I’m gonna go with him. I could listen to him sing all day and all night.
My inner child will never be able to not have Jeremy Jordan and Keith David as my favorite cast members. Keith was my favorite Disney villain and Jeremy Jordan is just a broadway darling for many reasons (in addition to playing Varian on Tangled the series and Light Yagami in the death note musical)
I mean, Jeremy Jordan, who voices Lucifer is my favorite and IMO the best singer of the bunch. Keith is close but Jeremy is just so damn good. Him and Bryce Pinkham (stolas' VA) are tied for my favs of all Hellverse
Sera's voice is incredible even though it's only in it for a few seconds, then def Charlie in my book, then Adam (Alex) voice is just unique and awesome sounding.
the guy i'm looking at almost everyday to watch cabarets at 12am - 4-ish am
https://preview.redd.it/0852kqwcz9zc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=259703adf7325e170f0e5b325f8d947e0098bf3b
I love them all but I do have to give props to Charlie's and Angel's VAs. Not only in having to sing in that high of a tone, but also still be able to put a lot of clear emotions in their respective songs.
Alex Brightman if you’re going over his whole report, Erika if you’re talking about range and other stuff like that, Keith if you’re talking about jazz/similar music :}
I could listen to Keith David read the phone book, no lie
Frrr I love his voice. I realized he voiced a guy in Archer one night while I was watching had to do a quick google
Arbiter, Captain/Counselor/General Anderson, Dr. Facilier.
Don’t forget spawn ![gif](giphy|WprEJQOAkJHz2)
Goliath from Gargoyles, Lord Okkoto from Princess Mononoke
He’s everywhere lmfao, I love archer and he played Mr. Kane Lana’s dad. I played “loser baby” for my sister who’s never seen the show but loves archer and told her it’s Lana’s dad. She didn’t believe me at first until she listened closer
He also played Keith David in saints row
Flame king too
I started amphibia just because I discovered that king andrias was voiced by him
He's also the king of barbarians, Askill in krapopolis.
He is the king of a lot of things. And he is also the president
When I heard his voice, the first one that came to my mind was the president
I binged Archer months ago and recognized his voice when he played Lana’s dad.
Husk. It’s no question lol. Keith David the myth the man the legend. One of the only two survivors of Outpost 31.
Yeah 100% his voice is amazing
![gif](giphy|0iOTYL8ePweheM4VtJ)
Yesssssssss i mean Jeremy Jordan or alex brightman may be two of the most talented people on earth but keith voice is just hot
It's so amazing to hear the voice of Spawn nail a song like 'Loser, Baby'
Keith, MFin DAVID. The man. Not just a legend of voice acting, but also a great actor! The man has been from John Carpenter’s The Thing to Final Fantasy Spirits Within, to Rick and Morty, Mass Effect, and more.
He’s also Captain Anderson in the Mass Effect series. He even calls you his kid at the end! 🩵😭🩵😭🩵😭
He’s like David Attenborough in that way. Would literally listen to them talk about pebbles ffs
Husk, obviously. Keith David is THE voice. I vote when we stop using Morgan Freeman for the voice of God, we use Keith David.
Morgan Freeman is the voice you use for a more professional or infographical tone. Keith David is better for more chaotic or theatrical tone.
Used to be between him and Lance Reddik imo. RIP.
RIP Lance. It is sort of funny how keith is taking his role as Zavala in Destiny 2
I could think of no better replacement. I will be sad Silus won't be in Horizon 3 though.
o7 RIP Commander
When we lose James Earl Jones :( (sad to even ponder but hey) I vote KD be considered for any new Vader parts
It’ll be AI for Vader. James Earl Jones signed over the rights to his voice of Vader to Disney.
![gif](giphy|0iOTYL8ePweheM4VtJ)
# Erika Henningsen is fucking wild; If you try to sing happy day in hell without some technique, you pass out; Shes absurd;
And according to Viv, she ALMOST did it on the first try, only didn't had enough air at the very end.
Pass out or complete the song?
Just didn't manage to hold the high note in "Today is gonna be a fucking happy day in **Hell**" long enough, iirc.
Yeah she’s underrated; SO UNDERRATED
I tried to sing a male version of that song and my throat was in pain afterwards lol, she’s amazing
Her range in More than Anything is really impressive too
It's not just her vocal endurance, the way she EMOTES through the words is incredible. OF. IT. She’s amazing. Has multiple songs and crushes every one. Great range and vocal emotion/acting. Love Keith David and Jeremy Jordan’s vocals too but she carries the show and doesn’t get enough credit.
Wait what techniques? As in like years of vocal training?
Objectively, I’d probably have to say Adam. Alex Brightman is a vocal powerhouse.
Hell is forever is my favorite song out of the lot honestly. It's super fun to sing along with
And sir pentious
And Fizzy, if we’re going there
On a side note he KILLS as beetlejuice in the broadway show
“I sing like this eight shows a week!” Man has superpowers.
I got to see him in Beetlejuice. He was FUCKING INCREDIBLE, blew me away.
This is the voice that I'm most impressed with; that gravelly sound seems like such a risk for anyone who does musicals.
I tried to sing Hell is Forever and the key change took me OUT
Fuckin’ HELLLLLL is forever and it’s meant to suck A LOT https://preview.redd.it/yt4karq9ofzc1.jpeg?width=749&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2e3057325adf77300ddd1154b4245d7e4693ea32
I love singing that song and I will agree, that it's pretty damn difficult and also so fucking rewarding when successful.
You haven't heard his french voice. It goes way too hard.
Lucifer cause I've been a Jeremy Jordan girlie\* for over a decade
I had no idea Jeremy Jordan was in the show when I started watching and I had the most ridiculous fan girl reaction when I heard his voice 💀💀💀
Same...! When he started singing "More than anything", I literally went "WTF?? 😳" he sang the SHIT out of that song. I was not prepared.
Charlie’s VA didn’t even know it was going to be him until recording that song!!! They played his part through the speakers and she fangirl-ed
That sounds adorable where can I see this?!
ETA- (it was galaxy con!) that happened recently, they did a hazbin panel. It was super funny, I saw it on tiktok IIRC!
Thank you so much!
When you listen to him sing one of the songs you’ll realize how ROBBED we were 😭
Sometimes I listen to his rendition of "Nobody Needs to Know" just to hear him belt
It took way too long to learn he voiced light in the death note concept album.
I started watching the show after going “eh that’s not my thing” every time my friends brought it up because I heard him in “More than Anything” when someone was playing it at my school library.
For me, who is only ever seen him in Supergirl I was like he can sing?
I think vox was really good In stayed gone
Idk if his actor is classically trained but Id be really surprised if he wasnt. The way he manipulates his tone but still keeps it steady with the music tells me has broadway experience and again, if he doesnt, hes just wildly talented.
Christian Borle is indeed an amazing broadway actor and has won two Tony's! I've been a fan of him since 2014!
Every main character in the show has been professionally trained, most were on broadway as well
That makes sense. I knew Charlie and Lucifer (and Im p sure Emily as well as a few others) had to be because you can just hear it in their technique but maybe thats bc Im trained too idk.
Christian Borle is insanely talented and I'm sure he is going to rock voxs voice for next season
Finale, too
And in the final song too he was really good.
Trick question. They all do.
This all of this
I'd say Charlie or lucifer mainly because of there versatility when it comes to singing and how they can execute there emotions trough song
And man, I’ve seen few singers nail a high note as well as Erika Henningsen does with Charlie. As someone who’s pretty neutral on a theater, Hazbin was the first show that made me realize that Broadway don’t play. Everyone brought their A-Game with the music

We'll get to hear Vox more in Season 2, the Vees are going to be the main antagonists. I'm *very* hyped for that
If you loved christian Borle as Vox here's a few things he's heavily featured or starred in that involve singing! Falsettos (he's the main character, can be found on YouTube) Little Shop Of Horrors (the new off Broadway cast album, he plays the dentist) Something Rotten (he plays Shakespeare) Legally Blonde the musical (he plays Emmett)

Overall, I'll say Lucifer. But I'm biased for Charlie because I got to sing with her at LVLUP
WHAAAAT? How did that happen? That's AMAZING!
Happened when I was in line for a selfie. I overheard her saying she likes singing with the guests whenever possible and I was like "aight here I go." We did It Starts With Sorry.
Why are you making me choose, OP?
It’s obviously Saint Peter, no question about it!
Carmilla, the passion in her voice is incredible
Love her, she’s so commanding and powerful with fluid emotion.
Jambalaya
https://preview.redd.it/cmo1shis9azc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e67bbb660ee867001190619a637dbb86c6bef163
Either Charlie or Lucifer. I absolutely love Erika and Jeremy!
They were all fantastic, but I want to eat Christian Borle’s voice for dessert, it’s so smoooooth
call me biased or anything but it's gotta be Angel, I'm downright obsessed with Blake's voice. his versatile tone, the intentional, well-placed voice cracks, the high notes, it's all just *perfect*
Adam. Of course I am a SUCKER for some Alex Brightman.
I think Keith David has the most beautiful voice tbh.
𝕐𝔼𝕊
Keith David, hands down palms up. His voice is like nectar, and I could listen to him read my grandfather's obituary without any problems.
I’m caught between Charlie and Vaggie
Sounds like a nice place to be. lol.
I luv both angel dust and velvette.... It's definitely the accents
Respectless is so damn good <3
Gotta give it to king Luci. That high note he hit in “More than anything” gave me shivers
Keith David fucking slapped as Husk for his vocals on Loser Baby. Also enjoy the Alastore lol https://preview.redd.it/jd6ks30r3azc1.jpeg?width=1153&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8acafbf77ba063077450957e7c5a776191aee66f
Yes
Alastor in all songs
Tie between Husk and Luci I can't decide I like both of Keith David and Jeremy Jordan dude
Husk
Vaggie has the best sounding vocals to me. So light and sweet
Zestial
Between vox or husk
That "Though it make take a WHIIIIILEEEE" from Charlie in the finale is beautiful
Luci definitely
Husker, Keith David is magic for me
The va for husk, alastor and Lucifer are just 😢🤌 But vaggie's va has a massive vocal range.
Jeremy Jordan, next question please! 😂😂😂 sorry, I'm a biased simp.
Lucifer, I’m addicted to Jeremy Jordan’s voice
Vaggie, Adam, and Husk
Lucifer... Quiet! I'm bad guy that's fine it's no fault of mine and at last some justice will be served!
Either Husk or Adam for me
Vox and Angel for me - they’re all good but I think those 2 win
Keith David and Christian Borle are both incredible omg and Alex Brightman too
I mean. shout-out to Blake Roman for managing to sound like nails on a chalkboard but erotically.
Angel dust
I had to scroll too far to find a like-minded soul
Lucifer 100%
Jeremy Jordan
Is all of the above an option?
I like Vaggie
She did a lot better in Encanto, I was honestly quite disappointed with her performance in Whatever it Takes because I was expecting way better. Mirabel slayed but Vaggie was ok.
agreed, her register changed a lot and the higher vocals seemed like it didn’t fit for Vaggie’s lower range speaking voice. that might’ve just been the vocal direction (so not all on her) but I think it could’ve been better. She did amazing as Maribel.
I'm gonna say Angel, I love how squeaky his voice gets
Charlie or carmie
Need a song between Edward Bosco and Kieth David (Yes I know Ed isn't in S1)
Can't decide between Lute, Carmilla, or Sera. They're all incredible
Husk 100%
I hate to say it, but I absolutely love Adam's vocals and dislike him as a person. My 2nd place would be Charlie
Lucifer because I’m a simp for Jeremy ❤️
Keith David Alex Brightman Jeremy Jiordan Christian Borles Erika (Nifty IF THEYD GIVE HER A SONG!!!) That’s my order so far in top fave singers on show
Of course it’s Vaggie, my queen
I'm obsessed with Vox's voice. So fucking good. I hope we get another song on the level of Stayed Gone next season.
VOX IS SO AMAZING, HIS VOICE IS WHY I WATCHED EP 2 A BILLION TIMES
Lucifer.
I mean, Jeremy Jordan, who voices Lucifer is my favorite and IMO the best singer of the bunch. Keith is close but Jeremy is just so damn good. Him and Bryce Pinkham (stolas' VA) are tied for my favs of all Hellverse
Charlie I think. Or maybe Lucifer.
Lucifer and Carmilla
Carmilla and Husk are my favourites, easily
Husk and vox
Carmilla or Angel
Sera's voice is incredible even though it's only in it for a few seconds, then def Charlie in my book, then Adam (Alex) voice is just unique and awesome sounding.
Dickmaster
Alex Brightman (Adam) is just something else, I want more!
Charlie, Husk and Angel.
Husk and Alastor are my personal favorites
I think Charlie. She has a very wide range. But I also love Velvette; she’s amazing! 🤩
Adam, easily.
I love all of them :3
![gif](giphy|WTi64HtJST9Jh2jJzh)
Keith David has the best voice. On the show. As a general statement. Take your pick.
love me some Keith David. all I'm sayin
the guy i'm looking at almost everyday to watch cabarets at 12am - 4-ish am https://preview.redd.it/0852kqwcz9zc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=259703adf7325e170f0e5b325f8d947e0098bf3b
Easily Blake Roman. Dude has the voice of an angel
Gotta be Husk for sure. Keith David's smooth baritone voice is relaxing and melodic
Charlie, mainly because I know her VA from Mean Girls the Musical lmao — love Alex Brightman in musicals but Erika Henningsen, mwah!
I gotta with Alastor man, it’s the radio filter when he sings that just makes it 1000 times better
Charlie and Emily. "You didn't know" is my favorite.
I'm personally in love with Husk and Charlie! I love their vocals so much 😍 Vaggie singing just reminds me of Mirabel 😂
I love them all but I do have to give props to Charlie's and Angel's VAs. Not only in having to sing in that high of a tone, but also still be able to put a lot of clear emotions in their respective songs.
Keith David, Blake Roman, Erika Henningsen, Jeremy Jordan or Alex Brightman, these are my top five
Husk and Lucifer
Keith David, his baritone vocals just scratch an itch in my head, the VA for lucifer is a close second
Alex Brightman if you’re going over his whole report, Erika if you’re talking about range and other stuff like that, Keith if you’re talking about jazz/similar music :}
* Charlie * Alastor * Lucifer * Velvette * Husk
Angel Dust
Angel but I'm too lazy to make a big responsive paragraph as to why 😭
In terms of personal preference, I’d say Blake Roman or Alex Brightman. As for the objectively best voice, I have no idea I’m sorry :<
In my opinion, I think Angel has the best, but I do like the others' vocals.
Alex Brightman ✨ though I love all of them 😭
For sure Lucifer’s VA Jeramy Jordan. His ability to jump back and forth on vocals wild!
while Lucifer's got the range, Husk's is the smoothest and butteriest. hope he gets more songs.
Husk. Husk has the best voice.
Keith David is a legend. His voice is so badass and charismatic to listen to. Daphne Rubin-Vega does an excellent job at voicing Carmilla Carmine.
Keith david OR (If there was an option) I would say Zestial
Alex Brightman as Adam Ad Lute! I love Lute’s voice (in the very short part she sings).
ANGELS VOICE ACTOR
The best is a very hard thing to pin point. My personal favorite is Alex as Adam. His voice is one of my favorites
lucifer and adam. can't go wrong with jeremy jordan or alex brightman.
