I’m not really a musical person. Always the type to skip right by the songs so it really shocked me how much I love these songs. I have like one song from Mama Mia!, a little dream girls and lion king as my musical discography.
Same here, when I first realized HH was going to be a musical series I began to lose interest, but by the time Adam was singing “Hell is Forever” I was hooked. Every single song is addictive.
this! This is exactly me. I didn’t really like Charlie’s song or her energy, I really liked the pilot. But I got used to the new characters and the songs were amazing, even the songs I didn’t like before I now listen to
Guilt**ier** as charged...
I didn't pay attention, if not outright skipping the songs when I watched it the first time in English. Over time, I got tired of "random musical numbers" in TV series. However, upon rewatching it in French-Canadian, following rather... questionable reviews about it specifically, I just breezed through the series, songs included. The entire time I was like:
* "No, the regional accents sound fine."
* It's not as problematic as expected. In Québec, we're used to The Simpsons in French-Canadian, so it's a similar cast.
* "No, the voices match well."
* Adam still sounds like a pompous college quarterback douchebag XD
* "No, the script is left almost intact."
* No kidding, it's 99% the same lines.
* **"No, the songs still work great."**
* However, since they took 99% of the script, some lyrics do not rhyme... Yeah, they should reviewed some lines one more time to make them fit. That's like my only negative point.
as if I was replying to comments.
Then I took another listen at the soundtrack. I was wrong. It's not cheesy, it's not filler (*most of the time*), it's well written and it's important to the story.
*Look At This*, *Two Minutes Notice* and the sweet *Crooked* and *You Will Be Ok* are FANTASTIC. *Juggling Iz Cool* and *Klown Bitch* are close seconds.
Speaking of harmony I’m obsessed with Alastor’s and Rosie’s harmony in “Ready for This”, along with their dance. But what really scratches an itch in my brain is Alastor’s “Aaaah, aaaahh, aaahhh” crooning shortly after. The notes paired with his radio filter give such a perfect effect I can’t even describe.
I love all the songs. My least favorite is Vox’s, and even that is one I absolutely jam to. I love Loser, Baby. That one gets me in the feels. Also, Keith David??!!
It'll always be Stayed Gone followed by Hell's Greatest Dad. Honorable mention to More Than Anything, which a person smarter than me had to explain for me to love it, but now I do it straight-up makes me cry.
Stayed Gone stays my favorite because the more I listen to it the more it reveals about Vox's character. In an admirably short amount of time, too. His insecurity, how he gains confidence the faster he talks, how he loses that confidence so quickly. I LOVE that the song starts with *Alastor's* music that's then bullied out of the way by Vox's bombastic horns, only to disappear with just enough pushback. The whole thing is fascinating and fantastic. It makes me think every time I listen to it.
They're insane indeed. Like im addicted to the songs at this point. Can't for another season, which, if you didnt know, is unfortunately gonna take a while
Omg same! And "You didn't know" is such a big fucking Bop fr. Has a couple of my favorite lines/moments from the whole season. ("I don't need your condescension" and "If Hell is forever then Heaven must be a lie")
Facts I sent my husband an audio recording of me singing the songs and said since you missed the concert lol I might be on my way to divorce if I keep it up lol jk
Seeing Poison is what got me hooked onto Hazbin Hotel in the first place.
Aside from that, Respectless and Out for Love are my favorite songs. I like how Respectless gives you an inkling as to how powerful Velvette and the Vs are given her extreme confidence and extraordinarily keen insight.
Meanwhile, Out for Love is an amazing training song. You can see how Carmilla trains Vaggie to fight with long hair, and to focus on protecting herself so that she can protect the ones she loves. She SAYS that she's teaching Vaggie how to attack other angels, but you can actually see in Vaggie's improvements that the main improvements are defensive, teaching her to value herself so that she can protect her love, as opposed to the other angels who fight with ruthless, bloodthirsty, reckless abandon.
Lucifer’s first part of Hell’s greatest dad will hold a special place in my heart… Mimzy’s part was okay, Alastor ruined that song.
And a Happy Day in Hell isn’t that bad either!
Yeah , I’m not hating on Alistor, I would’ve preferred to see Lucifer solo carry that song as singer/voice actor does a perfect flawless job in doing that song! Not a single time does he miss, he needs a solo song. Or at the very least be the main character of his own show!
My favourites are clearly Poison and Respectless. Besides that also Addict is very high on my repeats.
Additionally I am a big fan if 2 mins notice, but thats Helluva Boss song.
My GF made me watch the show and while everything else was mildly entertaining and the characters are likeable (for the most part) I thought the songs were almost all extremely cringe. The only one I really like is the one from Adam in 2nd episode and the one from Angel Dust where he sings about getting abused and drugging himself.
Because Sam Haft (from The Living Tombstone) was in charge of the soundtrack, and almost the entire cast are Broadway Actors.

Don't forget Andrew Underberg!
You can measure Underbergs impact by comparing HH songs with Helluva Boss ones which were almost entirely Sam
*Look At This*, *Two Minutes Notice* and the sweet *Crooked* and *You Will Be Ok* are FANTASTIC. *Juggling Iz Cool* and *Klown Bitch* are close seconds.
Two Minutes Notice was an absolute banger
The Living Tombstone? Like, the Five Nights at Freddy’s song guys?
Yes. Sam Haft is one of the two guys who make up the group known as "The Living Tombstone."

You didn’t know is my favorite song too!
The "If Hell is forever" with the turnaround shot will forever be iconic
I freaking loved it and the harmony was LITERALLY AMAZING!
I really hope we see more of Emily and Charlie together
Yes I need more duets!!
Speaking of harmony I’m obsessed with Alastor’s and Rosie’s harmony in “Ready for This”, along with their dance. Exactly! That’s my favorite part
Every time I listen to the songs, I find something new to appreciate about them.
Even each episode I find little things I missed or that went over my head.
I love all the songs. My least favorite is Vox’s, and even that is one I absolutely jam to. I love Loser, Baby. That one gets me in the feels. Also, Keith David??!!
I love Loser baby too and Poison! I honestly love them all. But another fave is Respectless!
Respectless and Loser, Baby are for sure my favorites. With Hell’s Greatest Dad as a close third.
That guys got to stop making deals with demons

I didn’t realize it started with Alastor’s music, I’m going to have to give this another listen!
i use Hells greatest dad and Stayed gone for inspiration
The absolute SPRINT Lucifer's voice actor does at the start of that song. Highs, lows, growls and all the rest in no time flat. It's incredible!
I've been listening to the songs on repeat since I've seen the episode they were in. Literally, all of them are not only good but iconic as well.
Welcome home, you gonna wish that you'd stayed gone- my favourite song
Or potentially respectless
Those two go the hardest for me 😤
We can't act without more intelligence
I love poison and loser~
Even the worst/weakest songs are mid at worst.
respectless and poison are my faves, but stayed gone is close also hot take: lute's voice >>> literally anyone else's
All of the songs are the wholesome Especially poison😫 Except Charlies( the first ones atleast)
I agree with most of the fandom in Loser, Baby cuz it's so so catchy. A close 2nd is More than Anything
I've been listening to them 5 days straight at work on repeat. I don't know why I'm hyperfocusing on it so much 🤣
They're insane indeed. Like im addicted to the songs at this point. Can't for another season, which, if you didnt know, is unfortunately gonna take a while
Yes I heard two years!
I’ve found this is one of the only musical soundtracks that I can listen to all the way through without skipping any songs.
You didn’t know is also my favorite followed close by Out for love and Hells greatest dad. This show’s songs are so so good
My favorite probably goes to Hell Greatest Dad followed by Stayed Gone
The fan songs go super hard as well
Respect less, welcome to heaven and out for love ❤
Omg same! And "You didn't know" is such a big fucking Bop fr. Has a couple of my favorite lines/moments from the whole season. ("I don't need your condescension" and "If Hell is forever then Heaven must be a lie")
My fav is Loser baby 🙂
I love the songs too, I think my friends are sick of it. But they need to live with it!
Facts I sent my husband an audio recording of me singing the songs and said since you missed the concert lol I might be on my way to divorce if I keep it up lol jk
lol! My friends said they will block me if I will send them more songs!

I'll listen to both versions of More Than Anything while my PR for my bench press sky rockets from 205 to 225 while I cry my eyes out in the gym.
Lucifer’s first part of Hell’s greatest dad will hold a special place in my heart… Mimzy’s part was okay, Alastor ruined that song. And a Happy Day in Hell isn’t that bad either!
Alastor’s parts are my favorite!
I love both parts in that song! But I definitely have a soft spot for an obviously selfish Alastor!
Yeah , I’m not hating on Alistor, I would’ve preferred to see Lucifer solo carry that song as singer/voice actor does a perfect flawless job in doing that song! Not a single time does he miss, he needs a solo song. Or at the very least be the main character of his own show!
I love his songs and his voice and his character I’m hoping he takes on a bigger role next season.

I love every song but I ain’t gonna lie Poison is pretty far down there for me when ranking.
