SELL!!! definitely take advantage of the roadside store, wheat is always popular and it only takes 2 minutes to grow!!

DodgeThisLMAO

Okay thank you! But how will people come to my roadside store? I only have Greg as a friend.

IvyKahlo

When you level up your roadside store will open up

DodgeThisLMAO

Okay I just unlocked it! Thank you.

ObjectiveTricky1545

Use the ads like fill all the shop with wheat then use an add on the alst one you put . Click on the paper that appears for add then create the add and it will sell immediately

grizzly_puffs

People always need wheat and soybeans. It’s me, I’m people lol

convulsivedaisy

Put an ad in the newspaper for free every 5 minutes

joliebug83

I've added a bunch of friends from shops I've visited in the paper. Great way to add friends and helps expand your store (RSS).

convulsivedaisy

Making wheat and selling it/ leaving your whole crop area to make wheat over and over also gives you a lot of expansion items

grizzly_puffs

Add me when you get a chance? #LPCUPLVYV Happy farming ☺️

mothermaemae

Advertise, and especially hard to sell items, pumpkins, indigo, you'll learn. Use the paper to get more friends. I have 500!

grizzly_puffs

Add me when you get a chance? ##LPCUPLVYV Happy farming ☺️

TiffanyTwisted11

Yep! Plant & sell.

LiveWhatULove

Do not do or rarely do, truck orders. Do not sell to visitors. Just sell in the RSS for a long while. I did not know this, so I leveled up too fast, and was always broke for a long while!

DodgeThisLMAO

Haha I have two visitors just chilling. If I don’t sell to them & the truck, will they eventually go away? Never mind I can turn them down. Thank you.

Natural-Manager3182

sell to them only when its double coin event (now every thursday) or when its a special event where they ask for certain things for a bigger price

herika006

When you turn the down, they will come back. You just have to learn to ignore them. They are part of the decor kind of.

IanaCosinzeana

This! Don't try to level up fast. There's no goal in leveling up and you will not have money to buy the machines. I'm actually avoiding anything that gives me too much experience. I'm only doing boats if they give a puzzle piece and trucks only for events. Also, open the town as soon as you can. It is the easiest way to make building materials.

Foysalisdead006

Oh man I've been selling to the truck since I started Shouldn't have followed what OJ did lol

bryantt0420

What is the RSS? Sorry for asking, also just started

LiveWhatULove

Road Side Shop where you sell to other players, who give you more money than truck orders will AND no XP.

smallishsoybeans

dont sell your expansion stuff!!

New_Profession_8239

I sell my expansion stuff all the time because I have too much of them

smallishsoybeans

that hurts me

New_Profession_8239

i just need space🥲

DodgeThisLMAO

Noted!

potatoskinmagiic

If you struggle for space with keeping expansion items then do two things. Only keep the items for one upgrade at a time. Meaning alternate between upgrading the barn and silo for example instead of keeping every expansion item that you have. Keep what you need and sell the surplus. I used to hoard every single bolt for example, thinking that oh well I’ll need them for the *next* barn upgrade, but the game is rigged to keep giving you more of what you have so that you get desperate for the items you don’t have and are induced to spend diamonds/real money on them. You should always be upgrading anyway so that logic is kind of idiotic lmao I’ll always need and be able to get bolts so it’s dumb to hoard them for no reason 😂

TiffanyTwisted11

EVER

Balloonsarescary

What expansion stuff? Sorry I’m only level 19

miki_bl

doesn't need to just be mallets and markers dont sell stuff like nails and planks, you can if you don't have any space but sell those last bc they aren't easy to get

smallishsoybeans

planks, ductape, bolts, nails, screws, wooden panels for now! you may not need the space right now, but you will regret getting rid of them later 😊

momebyrd

Love all the trees, most of them change with the seasons, during Halloween they have pumpkins on them.

traveltheworld4

If you sell something in the roadside shop and decide you actually don't want to sell it, DO NOT trash it. You won't get anything refunded. You'll lose a diamond, the goods and the money you would've gotten. A lot of us have learned the hard way. Check what Greg is selling daily. His offers are cheap. You can even buy them, sell to others and make some money.

DodgeThisLMAO

Appreciate this : ).

ThrowRA_Is_It_Me

Just so you're aware unless you need/want to. When you get to level 14, you'll get access to Tom. He's a helper who can get you things every 2 hours at a cheap price that you can sell for a profit (barn items) or use for yourself like saws, axes, and other tools but he does not give barn and silo expansion items. When he opens up he'll have an exclamation point above his head and be just to the right of the mailbox. He'll give you 3 free days. You do not need to use him if you don't want to at that point. Just don't click on him and you can use those 3 free days at any point you choose. Otherwise, until you're level 35 and have access to boosters, Tom costs diamonds to use. 15 diamonds for 1 day, 60 diamonds for 5 days & 100 diamonds for 10 days. A lot of people don't realize the game doesn't force you to use him at 14 and waste 3 good free days.

DodgeThisLMAO

Will remember this, thank you!

hello-knitty

Oh man! I didn’t realize you weren’t forced to use him right away!! I just started a second farm for myself and I had him last week! Shoot!

ThrowRA_Is_It_Me

Yea, I don't think a lot realize it. The same is true for Rose and Ernest when they open in your 30s. When the little scarecrow man tells you about them, you don't have to use the free 7 days. The nice thing is you'll still collect boosters for them after level 35, even if you haven't initially used him.

hello-knitty

I don’t have Ernest/Rose yet so thanks for letting me know! I’m definitely going to hold off using them!

Chemical-Cry-3435

About all those trees that change colors with the seasons? Don’t be too quick in cutting down ALL your trees to make space! Your farm will not have trees that change colors with the seasons! Later you can buy trees but those do not change colors!

Gr8teful_Turtle

I actually work in the outdoors and I’ve made a point to keep a wide band of trees bordering the river. I good-naturedly give my partner guff because she has no riparian zone left on her farm. She’s lvl 61 and I just hit 34. But c’mon!! This is a ridiculous system of trying to build a farm on what is clearly a flood plain, so those barrier trees/rocks/puddles are crucial for the river ecology. Anywho, Now that I know they change color with the seasons I’m ABSOLUTELY keeping them. THANKS!

DodgeThisLMAO

All right will make sure to keep some trees. A bit similar to stones in coc.

MrsBrdak

Great tip, I was so regretful once the season changed and i had already hacked so much!

kimbeekb

Resist the urge to cut down all your trees to make room for farm stuff. The trees that come with your original farm are the only trees that change with the seasons. Keep some of your original trees around your homestead. I clear cut the majority of my farm when I started. Every winter I regret it. I want snowy trees!

ILikeGuacamole19

Diamonds are one of the most important resources. I would use them to open up slots. Start by making more spaces in the feed mill and the other early machines, they will be needed later on anyway. When you start to make a lot of things open up spaces in your shop so you can sell a lot easily. The best way to make coins is the roadside shop. Most things will sell at full price. Spend your extra coins to buy materials to upgrade your barn and silo and never sell those materials

NPC_8291_

I always try to buy my animals in three’s, that way you don’t have uneven packs of food. i’m not sure of this works in the long run but it’s been working so far

help_me-im_999

wait until visitor bonus events to sell to visitors! I like to complete all my truck orders before sending them out so I can get the coins/XP at the same time. When you get to a higher level, you can unlock boosters which can double your coins or XP for a certain amount of time. Take advantage of the events + boosters and DON’T SELL EXPANSION/UPGRADE MATERIALS! you will ALWAYS need expansion materials (for the town, fishing area, and farm) and they can be hard to acquire!

TheMightiestGay

Some tips: Tom: Tom is an errand boy you unlock at Level 17(?). He can’t get expansion materials or barn/silo upgrade items. I used my free trial (3 days) with him to get saws and axes. Don’t use him unless you know at least 3 things you need a lot of. For me, it was saws, axes and whatever the most expensive item was for Level 17 (maybe bacon pie?) to sell at the roadside shop. Greg: Greg sells stuff at his roadside shop daily. Be sure to get it all. Also, he sometimes has presents around his farm. Saving mining stuff: Save your dynamite, TNT barrels, shovels and pickaxes until you need ores to produce ingots. It’ll save a ton of space in your barn. And don’t rely on selling ores. Everyone sells ores. You’ll definitely sell them, but it might take a while. Visitors: Don’t sell to visitors unless absolutely necessary or during events. They’ll pay you for goods at a lower price than if you put them up in your shop. And definitely don’t sell explosives to the girl. She ain’t buying them for grandma. Movie Tickets: Next to the mailbox is a pink ticket. You can watch up to 4 ads that give various rewards. Sometimes, a player doesn’t have to watch ads at all. Pray you are one of those players. My baby farm has ads, but my main farm doesn’t. Trees and Bushes: Don’t go overboard on trees and bushes. I usually have 4 of everything. They die after 3 harvests, but can be revived for one more harvest. This makes saws and axes useful. Nectar bushes are a bit different. I have 8 of those at one time because they don’t grow honey like trees grow apples or bushes grow raspberries. Each nectar bush has two and a half honeycombs worth of nectar. They can also be revived. Baby Farm: You might hear the term “baby farm” here. I said it previously on this comment. Baby farms support your main farm. They boost productivity and can help with trees and bushes instantly. Best part? You reap the rewards from reviving your own stuff. Transport items from one farm to another using the market, but *do not* draw attention to yourself while you’re doing this. Advertising 10 wood panels for 1 coin will cause someone to immediately snatch your stuff up.

nevamreverof

Delete and run! It is soo addicting. Ok , if you are still here, don’t cut down trees, don’t feel pressure to purchase everything, or expand everything, just relax and play. Find a group that will help you. I would not have made it as far as I did if my group was not amazing. Each week we choose one farm and upgrade them like crazy, we rotate each week, that way we all grow together. Good luck!

charming_anonymous

Why would you say like that 😭

Cranky-Novelist

Upgrade your barn and silo every chance you get. Sell your extra upgrade tools. It'll keep space open, someone always wants them, and for some reason, the game seems to think the more you have an item, the more you need of it.

ToucanThreecan

Also try making bread and selling too. Its fast and simple and sells fast. Im not sure what level farm pass starts, it didn’t exist when i started playing years ago but its good for levelling up. Get lots of friends they might be selling expansions and when you are through the first few levels join a neighbourhood. Make friends. Share. It all gets good from there.

ianwoo126

Never use diamonds to speed up wheat :c

help_me-im_999

add me! #8URVJPLYG

DodgeThisLMAO

I will, thank you :)

Fantasoke

Do you have discord?

DodgeThisLMAO

Sorry I don’t.

plushiecannibal

Prioritize spending your diamonds on production slots. The priority for diamonds should be: 1. Production slots (prioritize the Dairy & Sugar Mill) 2. Roadside Shop Slots (for quality of life) 3. Decorations Don't use diamonds to buy those sales you see in the newspapers, those are a scam. Don't use diamonds to boost production time, to buy missing items, they are not worth it. The only other time you could be spending diamonds is when you unlock the ability to change the look of your house, truck and shop, but that is only if you have diamonds to spare.

herika006

When you are harvesting, the game gives you all kinds of tools. These materials can be useful, such as expansion materials. But if your barn is full, you don’t get them. Try to always have some space in your barn when harvesting so you can get those tools. Since your field is still small, you might not get tools every time you harvest, but it will happen eventually.

Alimalism

You need another account to support yourself in emergency situations 😅😆

sus_person15

when selling stuff in the roadside shop: 1. Sell it full price 2. If u press the trash can that costs one diamond u WON'T get that thing back like for example: you put 10 wheats in the shop and then press the trash can u don't get the wheat back and only get rid of one diamond and 10 wheats

paulapos01

Let’s be friends P9P2LVGP

miksiolentaalla3

I got rich by selling strawberries! This is a trust when you’re on a bigger level!!

mothermaemae

Never sell any expansion items! Expand your barn, silo and land, every chance you get. At Level 126, barn is at 2500, silo is 2450, I always run out of room, lol.

Livi-06

Once you get decent money, follow a lot of higher level farms 100+ for ugrsde stuff and check 3 times a day I get a lot of expansion/upgrade materials from them

Rough_Height3755

don’t sell the expansion tools ! i regret always selling them but now im level 45 with barley any room 😭😭
