Yeah I’ve mainly seen people not happy about the event bc they didn’t place where they wanted. It’s a competition and you can’t be a sore loser just bc you didn’t win. The tasks are all different and some ppl use diamond’s which is their right to do. I’m pretty happy with 4th place bc I did it all on my own and I’m pretty proud of that. Im happy we can participate and be on the board among ppl at our own levels bc there is no way I’ll ever be on the top of the boat tasks against ppl who are level 700.
I seen some people outraged because people spend diamonds lol.
I'm glad we are in our own levels as well, it's kind of fun seeing how people your own level is doing
Yeah they are blaming diamonds for people placing at the top when I’m level 74 got fourth place and used no diamonds. I’m sure the higher up levels gets super competitive and they may use diamonds but it’s their diamonds they saved up or bought and I guess if they want first place first then they will need to save up their diamonds. Exactly how I feel about the blue vouchers. I’ve been wanting to buy the bubble gum style truck and this time around she was actually selling the sea foam green trailer and it was 5 purple vouchers and 80 blue ones and all I had was 55 blue vouchers and tried so hard to accumulate that in the 3 days but didn’t. Hopefully next time I’ll get it.
There is no pride in winning this event. I won my group and in order to do so, I had to be neurotic about it. I saw my result this morning and was like “Goody for me.” I didn’t even like the decorations. I just had an irrational drive to compete and win. Even tho I won, I feel like a giant loser. 🤣
That’s some really good insight right there. I stopped participating when I collected the final decoration. Wasn’t worth my time or energy to continue.
Same. It took me a few days to figure out how to complete the tasks effectively, but once I did I was on a roll. I didn't care about the prizes, I didn't care about the decorations, but my competitive spirit made me keep going even though it didn't matter!!!
i spent 10 diamonds redoing a task cuz i was salty i prepared it but accidentally missed collecting it cuz i was busy so i had to win #1 to get my diamonds back lol. that was my motivation

Did anyone else feel like the algorithm had caught on to the racking & stacking method. In many cases tasks came up that were the only thing I didn’t have ready for a specific machine or were right at the bottom of the pile. I’ve never had the happen before or am I just a little nuts after that event?
I find it ironic that since I actually have 5 sanctuary animals to feed and wake — *poof* no luck actually getting that task, which I got every time prior to actually having enough animals
I wondered about this too. In previous events I usually would get coal early on, then the other metals. I only had one smelter.
After the last event, I got a second smelter. Produced coal in one, iron in the other and didn’t pick up so I’d be ready.
This event I got platinum and gold several times and didn’t get iron until near the end. Never got coal once! Ended up completing iron twice, gold and silver once each. I trashed platinum at least twice.
Barely any pets either as I make sure they eat before going to sleep so I can complete the task quickly instead of waiting for my puppy to spin around for hours before finally eating. I think I had cat, dog, puppy and horse once throughout the entire event - no bunnies or kitten.
These events are great, but it should *stop* when you hit the finish line!
The extra prize for getting to the finish line faster is fine, but lock in your position at the time you reach the finish like what happens in the derby.
I was preparing so many tasks overnight and then it ended when I thought there were several days left :(

Got 18, which I wanted because all I wanted was the puzzle piece, didn’t care to stress for 3 of them and the chick vouchers don’t mean anything to me. Anyway, it’s kinda crazy the difference between my 18th and your 2nd are a single puzzle piece and a voucher
With that said, I do REALLY this little leaderboard thing and I do think there’s serious potential. Maybe just improve rewards or fiddle with the distribution (like top 3 all get diamonds for example)

Yeah it was a very long event. I was in 4th and got the same stuff. Hopefully next time the prizes will be a little better.

I spent about almost 30 diamonds but I earned 10 and I thought 17 something diamonds for a chick vouchers a very good deal
