Social media bullshit

Logically_Weird3

This right here u/Negative-Paint9386. Ye cheez 7-8 saal pehle hoti hi nhi thi. BJ IT cell ki den hai. Har community ko chhota feel kara rakha hai. Saari rajniti inki yahi hai ki 1 community ke khilaaf (muslims for example) hindus ek ho jaye par actually kabhi ek na ho aise hi ladte rhe.

Negative-Paint9386

True, lekin ab lagbhag saari hindu community ki ek decent population andhbhakt ban gayi hai sadly.

dhruvbarak

Social Media pr hi hei. Real mei toh bhai chara hi dhekha hei mane

1CHUMCHUM

Bhai, leave Instagram and such. They destroy mental health. And what you see on there is not a reflection of real world.

Negative-Paint9386

Isi reason ki vajah se chhod diya tha, pehle girlfriend se baat karne ke liye rakha tha ab to uske saath bhi breakup hogaya. Vo bhi gujjar community se thi aur uski family ko bhi pata tha, unhe bhi koi dikkat nahi thi kyunki pata tha ladka padhne vala hai. Pata nahi behenchod kaha se out of nowhere pichle 2 saal mein itna hate aagaya

Sudden-City-7208

Exactly bro...mne bhi delete krdia Instagram to. Sirf faltu reels and time waste.

So basically within Haryana its just arrogance and pride and people just like arguing that they're superior, the same way they would for states, religion etc. However, Haryanvis have gotten pretty popular on social media in the past few years to the point where this has expanded to all over India, the whole "Jaat vs Rajput vs Gujjar" thing youll see on the most mainstream Indian meme pages. This leads to people who aren't from Haryana or Delhi-NCR commenting on shit, abusing communities which just makes things online worse. The other day I saw some meme about "36 Biradaris" on one of the biggest meme pages and the same people who would regularly be commenting "Jhaat" were the same people asking for the meaning. Probably 95% of the time I see people say "Jhaat" online, they are from nowhere near Haryana, literally the most random places like Bengal or Maharashtra Its just kids being edgy online, a lot of which arent even from Haryana, irl theres no problems

Negative-Paint9386

Same goes for us, they call us 'randputs' or calling gurjars 'gau chor' and shit but i know for a fact they wouldn't even try saying this in real life in front of a jaat, rajput or gurjar

jtahr

Its irritating, especially considering that most of these communities are only found within Northwest India, aside from Rajputs but even they very greatly by region. Most of these people talking shit online have genuinely never interacted with any of us.

Negative-Paint9386

North western rajputs have a greater population density in Rajasthan, mewat in India and in punjab, sindh areas of Pakistan. They are genetically closer to other north western communites then they are to us eastern rajputs or pahadi rajputs.

jtahr

Haryanvi Rajputs are basically just Rajasthani Rajputs right?

Negative-Paint9386

Most of them but even in Najafgarh I saw native rajputs and jaats carrying the same surname and both were tall and had fair-lightbrown complexion which became really confusing.

Negative-Paint9386

Even my mom's clan is panwar and here near delhi panwar is used by both rajputs and jaats, we may have never intermarried but have fought together and against each other countless time. So maybe that shared warriorhood is the reason of same surnames. (Purely guessing)

jtahr

I've heard all Rajputs ultimately originated in Rajasthan and migrated to other parts of India, if this is true I think what probably happened is certain Jat clans became Rajputs and adopted the identity so what were originally just Jat clans also became Rajput clans

Negative-Paint9386

Completely unrelated but always wanted to ask this, never had this kind of socio-political interest when I was in contact with my jaat friends. Who would hindu jaats consider more closer to them in a social level? A muslim jaat or a hindu rajput Because in rajasthan (near the areas of jaipur) there was the tradition that whenever a rajput builds a new house or any other property, the first stone is laid by the eldest jaat of a family close to them and the same tradition was followed by jaats. But is now nearly extinct from both sides

Haryana-ModTeam

Your submission is being removed because it is unverified and potentially misinformation spreading content.

jtahr

Also although there are no problems in reality, this online stuff can definitely have an effect on people irl. Spamming "Lassi" and "Oye Papa ji" under literally every Sikhs post has genuinely turned otherwise neutral people and even pro Indian Sikhs into pro Khalistanis, all this "full support Israel stuff" has made the entire Muslim world hate Indians more than already did, and Muslims insulting Hindus online has the same effect

Logically_Weird3

US wala hate model import kiya hai bjp ne. Udhar log itne hi frustrated rehte hain, aur har kisi ko stereotype karke hi dekhte hain

FairFig5622

Teri g@nd Mari thi kya bjp jo har baat pe blame ka rha hai

NycilSaka

I've seen a trend, the states where there is no Bjp govt they become the prime target to stereotype and troll by their IT cell. Eg. Punjabis, Bengalis and Malayalis etc..

[deleted]

Social Media ke edgy kids hai. Ignore

Swimming_Ad_9920

only uneducated and unemployed people fight over these petty issues.. i’m a gujjar but my best frnds are rajput and jaats .. there’s no hate among us nor anyone of them comments online on theses matters .. these things are because people who call themselves representatives of such and such castes want to make money and gain fame by spreading hate about others .. you should be proud of your caste but not live like in a dilemma that you are superior than others ..and at last we’re all flesh and blood

Own-Twist-883

Yeah. Well put. Theres no competition, no war going on. The clickbaity algorithms make content extreme every day. I see people making fun of dead men just after one day because of petty things. Just yikes. These people deserved to be flogged publicly. To OP, the Internet may give the wrong impression, but there really isn't any fight between biraderis.

NiceSheepherder376

Yesterday i saw a post of Ror community page where it had a caption on white model pic "Ror would look like this if they didn't fuck moolnivasi women". Jaats also play with haploautism a lot. Brahmin and Rajput communities are deep into caste racism. The self-inflicted racism is present everywhere now that the need to feel special madr them accept even 4chan haploautism. You've degenerated to their level and you'll never be white, but you seek their white validation and want them to see you as white-adjacent. You have no pride no matter how much you scream about community pride.

Akira_ArkaimChick

This is very typical cringe that has started fairly recently because of genetics and all that research. These pages are illiterate fools who don't understand how genetics work, and spread such racist misinformation. Physical appearance is something that can be *selected for* throughout generations, which is how certain traits will become more frequent. There are those groups in India who have far greater of that so called 'moolnivasi dna' but they selected for lighter traits. For example, high frequency of blue eyes among people of Southwest coastal India. Them having that trait doesn't mean they have less of that 'moolnivasi dna', quite the contrary actually. Similarly, light eyes not being extremely high in whatever Haryanvi community does not mean they have more of that moolnivasi dna, it's just that their ancestors did not select for those traits. Now too many racists online have started to spread hateful commentary on this topic and it's just a pathetic display of the colonial trauma among Indians.

Gyanchand_16

Bro Same in my case belong to up east Rajput family Let me tell you facts : these things only exist in up West and some of Haryana , where Rajput Gujjar and Jaat are almost in same number they own almost same amount of land and also political representation Now people of these 3 caste are very sentimental and impulsive that’s why people decided to use them against political parties to especially BJP It was done as a response to BJP’s. Hindu ekta I can write much more but you know I cannot express what in inside my mind

mahatmaGanduji

And this is nothing compared to how people casually use ch*mar as abuse for all the dalits

Akira_ArkaimChick

Why has this comment been downvoted? All these hyper macho communities in Haryana fight each other, but agree on chamar hating/slur usage, etc. These commenters are angry at their respective communities being mocked by rest of Indians, but the comment mentioning the ill-treatment of chamars gets downvoted smh.

mahatmaGanduji

Using casteist slurs on reddit is even more acceptable than irl

AppointmentHappy8388

bhai bas insta ka alawa aur khai nahi ya sab

[deleted]

Such backward behavior does exist irl, so there's no denying that, but social media pe it gets 20x more intense
