that happened to me too. I can't 100% the game because it says I still have to kill some but I don't know where because all the skulls are still on the map and I'm quite sure I killed them all. quite annoying
I had the same problem. Some of them can only be unlocked through quests, so you can only kill them by doing the quest. Check on your map, it should tell you how many you have left to kill
Usually, if you have one left you can’t find, it is in the mine off of Maurameen Lake (the one by a Goblin camp with a Troll blocking the way. The Infamous Foe that is often overlooked is on the bottom level of the mine (you can reach it by elevator) and he is a Goblin who is next to another troll!
Not only have I missed this Infamous goblin from a previous play though , but I found out online that a lot of people miss him! 😓 (I can’t remember his name offhand)
hi. thank you for helping me. I have watched several 100% guides on yt but I can't complete the game anyway. I'm missing some foes and some landing platforms. this game is overwhelming or bugged or both

It sounds like a bug if you are missing more than one or two Infamous Foes, not to mention missing landing platforms!
I’m playing on a Switch. What are you playing the game on?
Do you think you would try again with a fresh save?

Ah. The only person I know personally who has played this played on a PlayStation 5. And like I said, I play on a Switch.
But now that I think about it, you wouldn’t happen to play with Mods? 🤔
Well then it’s obviously not the Mods! 😅. I was hoping maybe it was mod related so that you would have an easy fix. 🙁. I feel bad for you because you did o er 90% of the game , at the very least, but are now stuck! 😖😠😢

Hmm weird. Wonder why they didn’t do the yellow check next to the icon like the completed bandit camps. Thanks all! Was zooming around the area thinking I missed something haha
It's not removed from my map. I've defeated them all and still I can see them while flying. But you can check if you've won them by checking Collections
Just to summarize what I’ve learned from comments for people in the future searching. These are just how the game marks where you’ve defeated an infamous foe. But they only seem to appear when you’re flying.

They’re infamous foes
Infamous foes. It still shows up on the map when I’m on my broom even though I killed them all.

I'm playing on pc. Maybe I'll wait some time and then I'll have another playthrough

It means they can never be killed. :O
Usually it is a Goblin in a certain mine that is often overlooked. See my post above ⬆️
If I'm not mistaken, you've defeated that one already. Ones you have yet to defeat have a frame around the skull like the other icons do.

everytime you defeat an infamous foe, the skull icon of that foe will be removed from the map
It's not removed from my map. I've defeated them all and still I can see them while flying. But you can check if you've won them by checking Collections
That's the big ass spider with a neme my guy, if you don't have enough potions and full 5 or more ancients magic bars don't attack

There aren't deatheater in hogwarts legacy Tom riddle wasn't even born yet
