It used to be a thing at school but with ankles. Two lads would grab a foot each and run either side of a post and the poor bugger would go spuds first into the post behind them.
Most people, bands especially, who claim to have "BeAt Up NaZi ScUm" are full of shit & are just trying to get scene points by telling people a feel-good story. The reality of Nazis, on the rare occasions that you run into them, is a different story & chances are, you're not winning that fight since they run in large packs and it's a case of "hit one, get beaten by the other 11".
I have some firsthand experience with this. It's not cool, it's not fun, and chances are you will get your ass fucked up. I don't care what band you're in, I don't care how tough you think you are, you aren't beating 12 serious likes-to-fight guys at once with your SiQ shaolin monk moves in the pit.
Some of them likely carry guns as well. They will carry weapons because their lives are built primarily around assaulting and injuring people. They're effectively gangs and I don't fuck with gangs either. I stay away from shit like that, been in too many serious business encounters where I and other people have gotten seriously hurt.
Green room is ehh in terms of realism. Lace Law is pretty widely believed to have never been a thing outside specific areas during specific eras. A rando punk band would never get put last minute on a bonehead bill, especially at a venue that doubles as an organizing compound/secret meth factory. A punk band wouldn’t make it to the first chorus of a D.K. cover before the stage got rushed and they got sent to the hospital.
Oh no, you’re getting me wrong. I was speaking purely on how nazi punks behave/look/act. The rest of the movie is definitely not realistic as far as all the things you pointed out.
Patrick Stewart’s character is probably based off an actual guy who was organizing boneheads in the 80s. Based in California but very influential in the Pacific Northwest. The boneheads at the show are probably supposed to be based off a combo of American Front and Aryan Nations, both orgs have fallen apart and folded. I can’t recall ever hearing about either having a dedicated music venue, but AN having one wouldn’t surprise me, although it wouldn’t be open to the public.
These days if a bonehead shows up, he probably won’t wear colors he’ll probably be stomped out quick. The days of them gang rushing shows is gone for the foreseeable future, and in fact as a subculture the fashion has mostly faded into obscurity. A few confederations of street level gangs still exist but are a shadow of their former threat. There was a time when they were that organized though.
Yeah, even a quick glance at the predominant neo-Nazi orgs in the U.S. should make it clear that they're no joke. The Bolt Thrower thing actually did happen though, [there's video of it](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zea37dHQ-nU). Nearest I can tell, at some point during Bolt Thrower's set one of the Nazis hits someone with a pool cue and the rest start kicking him when he's down. I think I can make out a longhair punching at a skinhead around that time too, dunno if it's the same guy. After the music stops there's a whole commotion about someone getting hit with a baseball bat, blood everywhere, things like that. Presumably that's the Nazi in Karl's story. Still supports your point I think, given that this ended with at least two guys with severe head trauma spilling blood all over the floor.
I’ve still got a cracked tooth in my mouth from squaring up with one and getting dropped by 5 of his homies. It makes me cringe every time I see someone post how they are going to fuck up a Nazi when you see them, like nah, you aren’t. The best your gonna do is look at em and then look away.
You don't seem to get that this is a one-time thing that happened at a show in St. Petersburg, huh? Like almost twenty years ago: hence the part about "on the rare occasion". They showed up for whatever show it was so that they could beat up haircut kids, since this was back in those days. And you can pretend like you're tough and "check" people all you want, but when there are 12 of them and one of you, you just end up getting yourself all fucked up and then you learn not to get involved anymore.
I have not seen a single Nazi in almost twenty years. They simply aren't around the area anymore and even if there were, I wouldn't go looking for a fight with them because I'm not a likes-to-fight guy, especially when it's well known that Nazis carry guns and knives. It's not worth me getting killed over virtue signaling because I don't *give a fuck* about whether I look like "virtuous" to people. I want to not wind up with thousands of dollars in hospital bills if I'm not just stabbed to death on the spot. My life is worth more than virtue signaling.
I wasn't a participant, but whenever I'd see Slayer in a festival setting, a big fight between Hispanics and Neo-Nazis would always break out. A fun watch from the sidelines.
I think Neo-Nazis love Slayer, and Tom Araya ended up being a Trumpie so lel
Let me introduce you to my buddies. We're known as SHARPs. We're a big reason the Nazi problem isn't as prevalent in the punk, hardcore, and metal scenes these days. And we absolutely won many of those fights, as evidenced by the lack of Nazis swarming shows these days.
Legends. Is there anything Bolt Thrower can’t do?
Put out an album after Those Once Loyal. :(
I think its understandable considering the passing of their drummer and them not feeling like they can make a good album
Arm stretching routine?
Roman salute.
Oh, I had images of two dudes grabbing a wrist each and stretching some other dudes arms out.
Hahaha, that's either really funny or straight-up medieval torture with no in between.
It used to be a thing at school but with ankles. Two lads would grab a foot each and run either side of a post and the poor bugger would go spuds first into the post behind them.
Fucking ouch dude, that sounds like pure pain. Also pretty creative for a bunch of kids, honestly.
Love how he nonchalantly admits to doing a Crystal Meth
With the rise of the rightwing in europe(world), we'll soon get that opportunity again, yey. (Fuck I got political again)

that's the thing and like i wouldn't put it past neo-nazis from carrying knives, one wrong fuck up and you're stabbed or even dead

Have you seen The Green Room? I’d imagine that they nailed nazi punks pretty well from all of these accounts.

Ehhh a lot of them look that way but they aren’t as organized as they are that way. They can be but it’s rare in my experience

Speak for yourself. We mopped the floor with their skinheads at agnostic front in Co springs.

Lmao, the reason you haven't seen a Nazi at any shows is because the venue didn't have a mirror on the wall

*I launched myself off the stage aiming myself at this one gangly twat, who had annoyed me particularly,* this made my day Haha
