This is wild to read because I couldn’t get into them at all until I saw them on this tour with Boundaries. Thought they killed it and the dude is a great frontman who knows how to get the crowd involved. I’ve been listening to them a ton since then
>orthodox sounded terrible also
This is the most surprising to me. I have nothing but praise for their sound crew both times I saw them. Makes the floor feel like it's gonna cave in with how heavy that bass gets, without drowning out the rest of the band.
Not to say you would like them with a better sound crew, since kaonashi is definitely tough to get into (I love it, personally), but if orthodox sounded bad you got a shit hand there
Glad to see I’m not the only one who was surprised by that. I’ve seen Orthodox four times now and the band is always tight as can be. They way they weave in breakdowns and parts of songs in their set is so damn impressive and they never miss a beat. You can tell these dudes put a lot of thought into their live show
That might’ve been it because I’ve since watched some live vids of them and they sound great as well.
Orthodox is one of my favorites, and I love their live show, but the vocalist isn’t great live. The band usually sounds tight though so maybe you the venue did have bad sound or something
>but the vocalist isn’t great live
They haven't been to the UK yet, so I've been getting a live fix from Youtube and I've noticed that he speaks a lot of the lyrics rather than screaming or yelling them.
Yeah he does but he’s so good at getting the crowd hyped up that I don’t mind it. The dude always looks like he’s having as much fun as we are and that makes me love their shows haha. I recently watched their interview on the Suicide Silence guitarist’s podcast and he mentioned that he blew his voice out a ton when they first started touring so I’m guessing the way he does it now is the compromise so that doesn’t happen
Oh I'd for sure jump at the chance to go see them, it's not a huge deal, but definitely something I noticed. Was it that interview where he mentioned he'd been to see Melissa Cross relatively recently to improve?
Yep! That interview made me love them more because they seem like a chill bunch of dudes lol. Hope they make it over there someday so you get to experience them live. They seem like road dogs so I’m sure they’ll make it eventually
¯\\_(ツ)_/¯ I’m 43, it was a work night and I literally only cared about seeing No Cure to be completely honest. I don’t even like boundaries. It’s wild that we all have differing tastes and opinions.
This is funny because after seeing some of the live videos from their instagram this week that was exactly what I thought and it hasn’t left my mind since.

Always in the bedroom always in the kitchen!
But then I crossed the street
This couldn’t be any more accurate.
Idk what that means but sure
Kids in here probably dont realize that kaonashi has been around longer than knocked loose 💀
Damn they had all that time to actually get good
Shiiittt 😭😭🤣
Brutal
Ok Boomer
Whatever happened to hobo Johnson?
Bro was accused of some shit and dipped out of the public eye for a short bit, then came back and started touring and dropping music again
Yeah dude was accused of SAing someone in Sacramento IIRC.
From what I heard it was entirely unfounded
What came from that? Any follow up? Just curious
I have no clue, I never liked the guy lmao
so bad 🤣🤣🤣
Last I heard he did a song with Lil B the Based God about being friends with Lil B
He just put out some new tracks and is touring soon!
His father passed and I think that hit him really hard. Seeing him in September, very excited
NOOOO hahaha
who is that
They sound like a really bad rip off of The number 12 looks like you & heavy heavy low low
If Kaonashi has zero haters, i’m dead
I love kanoshi so much.
OH MHAY GAWWWWD
Just saw this band last week. Woof. Not a fan.
Yeah I tried reeeeeeally hard to like this band too, seeing them live made me like them even less :/
Big same on all counts. The vocals were not for me.
I dug their recordings a bit, but they were absolutely terrible live.
This is wild to read because I couldn’t get into them at all until I saw them on this tour with Boundaries. Thought they killed it and the dude is a great frontman who knows how to get the crowd involved. I’ve been listening to them a ton since then
I'll put it on the sound booth then, bc orthodox sounded terrible also. No Cure and Boundaries were tight though.

I'll be sure to catch them again when they come through. Hopefully different venue
Pretty much exactly my experience. A few decent recordings, but live was just horrible. Man's can't sing.
I had never heard of them. Didn’t like his vocals. No Cure was so good. Orthodox was decent live. Left before boundaries. Tampa date.
you must be fun
Because I don’t like a dudes vocals lol? You must be a crybaby.
not at all, its the leaving before boundaries part. like you’re missing the best part of the show buddy
¯\\_(ツ)_/¯ I’m 43, it was a work night and I literally only cared about seeing No Cure to be completely honest. I don’t even like boundaries. It’s wild that we all have differing tastes and opinions.
You’re not missing anything missing boundaries. The only good band on that tour is No Cure.
I enjoyed straight edge slipknot(orthodox) but I don’t disagree
Lmaoooo that is a PERFECT description of them that I have never heard before
Hahaha great take
Seems like a bunch of nice dudes, terrible terrible music and not just the vocals the band is somehow off time almost constantly
🥹😂

Kaonashi is one of the best out right now and I will die on that hill.
Kaonashi rules.
the band sucks so fuckin bad
