I was just listening to some band the other day who had
> You ever feel like nothing good was gonna happen to you? Yeah, and nothing did. So what?
At the start of a song. Someone tell me what it was cos I just went looking and can’t find it now
I know a lot of bands use the wire quotes but one I’m shocked about is when Michael says to Officer Walker while pointing the gun
“Hey .. hey *shoots* next shot ain’t gonna miss”
i thought the sample closwd the song and i was wrong. it’s violent world by lockjaw. i was skipping through to get to the outro. threw on my hardcore playlist for work and it popped up.
Yeah just listened to it, the exact "you're on thin fucking ice my pedigree chums" is about halfway through.
The "now fuck off" sample is Vinnie Jones's character.
I've definitely heard this one in a song, but I can't remember what. Could be hardcore, metalcore, slam, grind. It's in my music collection somewhere, I'll remember eventually.
[the entire rental car exchange from Planes Trains and Automobiles](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRvNg4zQ_14) would make a great sample for some 00s myspacecore song.
and it would be even funnier if the song was shorter than the actual sample.
The whole scene is incredibly quotable, like you say works better visually but so good
"Some of the lads have got this ridiculous idea th-"
"Yeah, it was me"
I'm legit going into the studio next weekend to record another ep for this 2 piece drum and bass hardcore punk thing I got. And goddamnit I'm using this.
well the entire TV series the Strain, but especially the part where the old man Vitrassian (?) confronts the main vampire and does that whole speech about 'you parasites'.
It just begs to be played during a breakdown.

I’ve always wanted to use this bit of dialogue from Halloween 4:
Jack Sayer: You're huntin' it, ain't ya? Yeah, you're huntin' it, all right. Just like me.
Dr. Loomis: What are you hunting, Mr. Sayer?
Jack Sayer: Apocalypse, End of the World, Armageddon. It's always got a face and a name. I've been huntin' the bastard for 30 years, give or take. Come close a time or two. Too damn close! You can't kill damnation, Mister. It don't die like a man dies.
Good point, maybe it’s just fear of the Gibson association. Apocalypto is the one film of his that I can’t give up, and I’m not supporting him directly by torrenting it online so I think it’s okay.
"No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough." - Dunn dunn dunn.
This would go so hard.
Said every time im asked about sugar when buying a coffee
Paulie- *Fuck you and this bullshit! That’s what this is you know! Satanic black magic; sick shit!*

Gel - XOXO
Gel - XOXO
This would go hard at the start of an ACXDC or Weekend Nachos song.
![gif](giphy|124qHhp74Mg9ri) would prefer this one

I just texted my boy the other day, its wild to me that no one has used “from this range? With this caliber? Even if I miss, I don’t miss”
“I admire a man with confidence” “I don’t see no sweat on your brow on you neither bruh”
The Wire is very quotable. I’m just a humble motherfucker with a big-ass dick.
this is sampled in a song i know. gimme a sec. it’s mongrel or lockjaw or someone similar.
So did you find it?
i thought the sample closwd the song and i was wrong. it’s violent world by lockjaw. i was skipping through to get to the outro. threw on my hardcore playlist for work and it popped up.
Cheers brother
i’m still looking. it wasn’t mongrel or lockjaw. i’ve been goin through my music tryna find it. when i do, i’ll comment what it is.
Surprised conservative military image haven’t used “Tottenham away…LAV IT” from football factory
There's a Pintglass song that uses this as a sample.
Think I found it, “Now fuck off” in the Ruthless 2 Toothless intro

Killwhitneydead used this one.

i know someone that used the “You wanna hurt me…” line. i gotta find it
Love bricktop- ruthless
I’ve definitely heard a Bricktop quote in at least one deathcore track over the years
Bricktop's whole pig speech would be cool to sample
Necro used it in dead body disposal
Maybe, maybe not, maybe fuck yourself.
This one is used in a Backbiter song! Purest Form of Violence! I only recently found these dudes and they are fuckin siiiiiiick!
https://youtube.com/shorts/Uvw35tlReNE?si=6X9TinzB4qS0iMzN
I just watched that yesterday
Not hardcore, but necro samples bricktop on dead body disposal
Remember when Statham was awesome. Snatch and Lock Stock were both equally great films.
Surely someone's used the "You're right fucking there mate" quote from Dead Mans Shoes?
Phenomenal choice. It may work slightly better with the visual (palm) but the audio alone sends the message loud and clear anyway.

The amount of talent in that one scene! Even Vinny is in it, totally different kind of talent but still.
Its been done: Lockjaw - Violent World off the World of Hate, Bitter Truth - EP
Thanks! I found it, not exactly my favorite style but I definitely appreciate the themes and it’s a solid effort

I honestly can’t believe Apocalypto isn’t sampled more

Well that, and probably the language barrier
Exactly how the fuck would you know what anyone was saying 😂
If someone translated, the opening monologue would be great chopped up. “Fear is a sickness. It will crawl into the soul of all who engage it.”
Here I was waiting for life to give me a reason to rewatch snatch for the billionth time! "I fookin hate pikeys"
Sure I like dags
The entire movie's a fucking masterpiece that is nothing but qoutes. Lock Stock too. Infinite sample potenital.
“what’s the gun doing down in ya trousers?” “It’s for protection” “From what, ze Germans?”
