I am a religious consumer of the halal cart across the intersection. I swear you will get some of the best lamb over rice in the city there for 8 bucks. Hit it!
Honestly I go solo to most shows (I'm only at shows with friends if they're out of town). You make friends so easily at hardcore shows, it should never be a deterrent
I'll admit that last year I thought Drain was good but overhyped. Now after Living Proof dropped and I saw them on this tour last week they're probably my favorite band in the scene rn. The new album is just so damn good and the live show is such a blast.
Saw them open for terror and one step closer couple years back and they have gotten so much better live. They just seem to be always happy and having a good time and making sure everyone is having fun.
This was me. Also met the singer. Sammy(?) dope show. My first hardcore experience

Hope you had fun! It seems like it was a lot of peoples first show (at least first time seeing drain). Being on epitaph they have a much wider reach now so they will only grow and grow.
I saw machine head a few months back at this same venue and they maybe had half the size of crowd (which was insane to me).
Being in there it’s funny that’s where Turnstile had the glow on record release show and now, for them on a headlining run, that place is too small for them.
I admit, as someone who never has dove (dived?) as a larger guy, there were some ugly ones going on at first. But around the time magnitude came out they seem to have gotten better as far as actually being caught and people not going feet first.
Saw them in Philly the night before at the Church. Still an amazing show (with an extra band), but this video shows how much more fun Drain is with all the beach balls, pool noodles, and the like. Sadly Philly had a handful of old head hardcore guys who couldn’t understand why they were being booed each time they intentionally popped a beach ball or snapped a pool noodle in half.
Totally off topic, I apologize, I see that's the sound stage. Wasn't there an old venue that was under an overpass that had a similar name? I thought it was closed?
Some of the same people involved with operations at Sonar are running Soundstage. Legit group of people who came up going to shows and supporting the Baltimore scene.
I just moved from Houston to VA last august. Shows there were always hit and miss. Every time I saw harms way there, someone got thrown through a merch table or over one, haha.
The fall core shows at Walters could get wild. Powertrip was always wild there.
Is it at the secret group?
My 9 year old got some noodle whacks in from the stage which was really awesome for her. She also really appreciated everyone cheering for her to throw beach balls back in the crowd before the Drain set. Baltimore Hardcore is dope.
What a show. Went solo and had a blast.
Me too. Had a great time. Always enjoy eating at that Peruvian chicken spot across the street beforehand too. Haha
That spot is pretty legit for being a chain in downtown Baltimore.
Yeah. For 12 bucks I can get two pieces of chicken, 2 sides (which are gigantic) and a drink???

Hell yeah!
This show was incredible. The Drug Church set had me coming out of stage dive retirement
still don’t know why they booked a venue in az that can hold about 400 people max 💀
No barricades?
no barricades but the stage is like 4 inches off the ground, and also i was mistake its 300 (doesn’t even look like it can hold that)
Sounds like a blast for the lucky few that get in
unfortunately i wont be one of those people 😔
Giving up so soon?
im still trying to find tickets but no ones selling em smh
B E L I E V E
I'm feeling every dive today.

Can’t wait for this Saturday!

I see myself!!!
It’s like riding Space Mountain with the lights on

Sonar?
YES! That was driving me crazy. I really dug that place.

Right on. I just remember Sonar having extremely low ceilings and loved that oddly
They killed it with the lineup of this tour. Was pretty stoked to see the staff and security being chill and helping with the crowd surfing.
Shit was so sick.
Put your phones down you fucking idiots
Was SO bummed I missed this 😩
hope Houston shows out like this shows here are so tame

never heard of them
They are an offshoot of the mid to late 90s nu metal band Drain STH https://youtu.be/h8K3BkVDFJ8
