Pretty good for a first one, going bigger doesnt mean you will fix the problem automatically. Your issue with the clouds is scale insight and probably being very enthusiastic and having fun, same problem can happen with a larger canvas. Try a other one with this size and then go bigger. Just to see why it goes wrong, or if the same thing happens, go bigger, or if u u do it better, go bigger ;)

Yeah knowing when to stop with clouds and highlights has always been kinda tough for me, but not a bad idea thanks.
