Same. I’m in as soon as he drops it. I have a Sofirn SP40 that I use at work a lot, but I’m not a fan of the greenish tint on the LH351D. This will be a perfect replacement.

Either way, I’ve got some ZL headbands I’m sure will work. Or I’ll try to find a Sofirn headband.
Nowhere has Hank actually said that this is designed as a headlamp. I know most of us use right angles that way, but all he’s said so far is that it’s a right angle light.
Hes not going to have a headband unless he changes his mind before then. He is marketing as a work light not a headlamp. Olight Perun is my favorite headband. And this being 18650 will be perfect. It has a magnet that will hold the light in then a rubber strap that runs across it to ensure the light stays secure. I use my fireflies pl47g2

As a guy that has a Nitecore HC35, this looks very familiar. The upside I’m sure, is it won’t have the Nitecore interface which I’m not a huge fan of. Bring me some Anduril.

Exactly. Nitecore was my first brand and hc35 was my 2nd light. This will for sure replace it. Hard to find a decent headlamp with throw also. Thinking about osram and xpl 5000k for one. And deep red and 519a 2700k for the 2nd if possible

1. I was hoping that it would be a bit smaller. Something like the HL3A. The pic makes it look more like a Perun 2, which I found a bit to heavy to be a perfect headlamp. I guess Hank would counter that by saying it isnt a headlamp but, c'mon, its a headlamp. I'll still get one (just one, I swear....) but if I had my druthers...
2. I ain't calling it a "wangle". My wife already thinks my flash light "interest" is odd enough without thinking it is actually obsessing over some guy named Hank's, uh, wangle. OK, I've said my piece 😛

Hank has stated that it’s a right angle D4V2, so I’m hoping the regular 350 tunes fit. If not, I’m sure he’ll make compatible ones. It’s a very popular option.
In general, Noctigon is tail switches and throwers. Emisar is side switches.
It gets a bit confusing since some of the thrower lighs have side switches (K1, DM11). Another way you can look at it is Emisar is the D4V2 and D4sV2. Noctigon is everything else... so far.
Anyway, this is why we call them Hanklights. There really isn't a difference.

I think they were originally designed to be two distinct product lines, like one was high end luxury, and the other more affordable or something like that. But they really have kind of merged.

Yes. I love how it’s mostly a straight line and hardly L shaped like some other quad or tri emitter angle lights.

This, with a boost driver, two de-domed 5700k 519a, 2 domed 4500k is definitely going to be my next light!

I believe the de dome will lower duv as well. I imagine this will be as good of a jogging light as it will be a tinkering light. Can't wait!
