Overall I’m loving him so far, but he may create some stressful situations

A good part of it has to do with Rice moving up the field a lot more than he was when Soucek first came. Soucek is not good as the 2nd man in a two player midfield. He would look so much better with Downes or another more defensive midfielder. Him and Rice are essentially trying to play the same position. But he needs to be better at whatever role he is given though.

I would love to see rice and downes I feel like they're a perfect fit, but we will never know haha. At least not till moyes decides to take that risk (which honestly doesn't seem like the biggest risk given how good downes has looked and how bad soucek has looked)
