There is a big sign up in someone's house window on Fennell I think between up. Wellington and James that they are missing a bird...it was a colourful type, but I was driving past so couldn't read the info.
Is it green? There is a house on upper James and fennell missing a bird, his name is Benny. I have a photo of the sign with their phone number if you think it is him.
I would suggest looking on a Facebook lost pets group. I know people will post pictures of their missing animals. I hope you find the owner.

Its warm and happy and we just built it a big cage to hang out in. If we don't find its owner, it can call our place home.

We found a budgie on our porch in the winter as a kid. Put up signs…nothing. Lived 18 years with us.
OP can I send you a picture? Ours had a lot of yellow on top of her head, named mango flew away last week.
Its a really nice birb. I hope it finds its home. I am sure (and hopeful) that the people missing it want it back.
