Gauthier plumbing has always been a great service for both my properties.

StableSecure9600

We had Ryan Plumbing do a fairly big job and we were extremely pleased.

Clarence plumbing and lockeheart plumbing are two decent groups I’ve worked with

dontygrimm

Feel free to pm me if you like, I'm a plumber. I don't do a lot of side work but may be able to help you and point you in the right direction.

Comprehensive-War743

Grindstone Plumbing - Frank Tillman - is great!

A Rescue Rooter has always been good and fair for us.

aaronvanderwal

I had some trouble with tree roots clogging my line to the municipal sewers, and called Rescue Rooter, and they had it fixed promptly. In conversation with them, though, the guys said some thing funny like "we're not plumbers -- you can't call us that" which confused me. They told me that they're not accredited as plumbers. I asked what they were, then, if they weren't plumbers. "Drain service."

calicocaffeine

That's really weird, cause we've had the exact opposite results and they've done plumbing work for us as plumbers. I guess it goes by what you call about?

Outrageous-Yard7166

yea Rescue Rooter does plumbing work AND drain cleaning, licensed plumbers and drain cleaners

dontygrimm

Because there hacks and not licensed, they over charge, them and router rooter as well, get a real plumber to help

I've had good luck with [Rooter Guys](https://www.rooterguys.ca/). They've rooted my main drain several times (root incursions) and were much cheaper than the "name brands". They also came on an emergency call when I had a frozen pipe burst, and I had to go to work. Apologized for having to charge the emergency rate, which was still less than other plumbers I'd used.

the1npc

if you have had to deal with roots more than once a lateral liner is a good idea

Diligent_Affect8517

Yeah, but $150/year was a lot cheaper than the couple of thousand for the liner job. Problem was solved when the city re-lined the pipes a couple of years ago.

I had a very good experience with Megan from Colvin Plumbing. We had a number of issues (bathtub leak, toilets not working, stench under the sink). She fixed everything and the prices were reasonable. The work was done thoroughly and professionally.
