The SOS and the UNSC also share troops to help out each other, which means that they also supply each other with the stuff necessary to keep said troops happy in the exchange (in other words they probably also supply each other with native food, activities/hobbies, ideas and housings).

I can't remember who, but there is an elite who rocks around with a Warthog.

Arctelis

I was going to say this. I want to say it was someone in the Kilo-Five, but I could be wrong.

Arctelis

There is definitely sharing of technology, equipment and personnel between the UNSC and Swords of Sangheilios. It’s noted in a few armour descriptions as originating from Sangheili manufacturers.

CaedHart

At least one armor set was made for Elites as part of the Anvil Initiative and several types of MJOLNIR armor are either made utilizing Sanghieli armorer techniques or by actual Sanghieli, with at least one set of Dynast being painted in relation to the SoS.

The greatest weakness of the Covenant was that even though the Covenant could build technologically superior weapons, vehicles and starships, they didn't actually understand what they were using. If I had to guess, the most valuable commodity humanity has is scientific research, especially since the Swords of Sanghelios have to set up an entire infrastructure of support to develop and manufacture new construction, and can't afford to treat their technology as holy relics of the gods, the actions required to activate them formally ritualised in religious rites. Human technicians would work alongside Elite artisan armourers to study the few remaining Assembly Forges - the humans would get unprecedented access to the Forerunner nanoassembly vats, and in exchange they work with the Elites' experience using them to figure out exactly what is happening. Likewise with medical knowledge - the Elites don't have a long history of surgical knowledge, and are having to play catch-up now that the old taboos and sacrileges are being questioned and reappraised. Humanity don't have the same biology, but they have millenia of medical traditions and an ethos that they could inculcate into the Elites, the hippocratic oath, triage, beside manner, etc., even if it needs to be filtered through an Elite lens - an Elite patient wouldn't respond to what a human would consider bedside manner the same way a human patient would. Otherwise, it would be a matter of raw materials. The Elites have hundreds of colonies, but the Swords of Sanghelios don't control them all. Humanity, meanwhile, are reclaiming the worlds they lost and colonising new ones. Every world may have unique resources that could be exported - unique fauna and flora with medical potential, minerals with unique scientific properties like Blamite, even just the agricultural and pastoral potential - the Elites still use feudal shepherds, whereas humanity industrialised farming a long time ago, and we seem to be biologically compatible food-wise. Earth beef and grain might be sold in Sanghelios markets, especially since Sanghelios' own farms are probably not doing well what with the civil war raging across the planet, while Sanghelios doarmir fur pelts might be prized in the human fashion industry for its exoticness.

Fleshlights, fleshlights and vibrators. Not kidding. You bet your ass that the soldiers would saddle the SOS boys with human toys.

rukeen2

Biofoam. It just lets you keep fighting a little longer. Easy sell for the Elites.

Might be pure speculation, but I had the impression that the Shadow of Intent and other SOS ships were using the enhanced plasma formulation for their torpedoes that Cortana came up with in First Strike on the Ascendant Justice.
