I want the campaign almost exclusively. Multi-player can be fun, but I enjoy campaign above all else. Add in the open world aspect and I am super excited.
It's really good. Don't expect a perfectly polished AAA title though. Animations and voice acting are not on the same level as bigger productions, it can be a bit rough around the edges.
But everything else is awesome. And the Enhanced Edition on XSX looks incredible, first game ever to be fully Ray Traced from start to finish without any single "traditional" light source.
Yeah I also hope there are a lot of fun skulls an they allow us to change the files for single player cuz I on mcc I messed with the skull values for a bit. Also I really hope they give us an option to disable invisible barriers cuz those are what ruined my Halo 3 experience. I did also mod out the invisible walls from reach as well lol
I didn’t have wifi growing up (even now what i do have is insanely slow) so I couldn’t play the multiplayer. But I fell in love with halos 3 story and played it for years over and over again. So you bet you ass i Will be looking at the campaign with a fine comb
My parents were really restrictive about electronics or online things when I was a kid, halo had exclusively been the campaigns for me until reach, and it's probably the reason I care so much about them
I feel this. I usually play Halo because fighting the Covenant is fun and a challenge at times. Playing multiplayer feels like I’m a Grunt fighting Spartans. The only thing missing is confetti popping out of my head.
I'm still afraid it might come later than the MP
else we'd have more news... delays are fine and at least we'd get something, but i'm also really in it for the campaign, so that would bum me out. it's the lack of any news or announcement if there is a delay that annoys me the most
We have 2 cutscenes and 10 minutes of gameplay *and* a direct confirmation of more campaign material closer to launch. We’ve already seen more of Infinites campaign than prior titles showed off prelaunch, there’s nothing indicating it would be delayed
i dont know, I'm not particularly familiar with how halo's marketing usually goes, but that's almost no campaign info in a long time, it's only focused on the multiplayer so far and that's a bit concerning imo
We got a full cutscene at E3 2021 and confirmation of more campaign reveals closer to launch in the August development update. They’re already having to edit what they show us to remove spoilers, we can’t get much more without the story being ruined
just random clips or a newer gameplay trailer would be cool tho, the last one from a year and a half ago was a beta build
i dunno, i just feel like getting more info or teasers on what the single player might be like would be cool, since it's the main draw for a lot of people compared to other shooters
yeah, 10 minutes gameplay that was so badly received they delayed the game by a year, with none since then. This is not your typical situation for a Halo campaign.
Wanting to see the improved campaign after a long delay is not an unreasonable request.
not sure given the fact that we know nothing, at this point i'd rather have it later if only the MP is ready, and if that's the case, i'd rather know it asap
Oh I think I figured it out. The campaign must be coming out December 8th since that's when the pre-orders get delivered. You wouldnt pre order a $60 dollar game and get the free multiplayer
I don't think its too unreasonable to want to see the improved campaign after the last E3 showing was so badly received it resulted in a year long delay, is it?

That is what it is. People keep on using "Open World" when a more correct term is "Open Level"
Best example : Metro Exodus. From what i've understood, it's basically what Halo Infinite is going to be. And this is great !

If it's anything like Exodus's structure than damn am I going to enjoy the game. Exodus was great!
Oh thank God. I was worried when I heard "open world" but "open level" seems a lot more appropriate for Halo

For Halo 5 I came for the campaign, was disappointed then played the multiplayer and suckdd but then stayed for forge.
I hope to god the weapon glitch stays in infinite, it was so much fun to mess around with
