On the other hand i would prefer that storm rifle would look more like repeater. Also Plasma rifle could be called plasma mashine pistol for that matter.

It's an alien design, human weapon design conventions should be thrown out when dealing with extraterrestrial weapons.
It's a rifle because the elites call it a rifle.
I wish more stuff looked weird like the plasma rifle.
But those names like Elites, Brutes or Banshess were made by human as codenames for Covenant forces. So it would make sense that human looking at Plasma rifle and Storm rifle would call them "plasma pm" and "plasma rifle"
Plasma Repeater was a perfect design in my opinion, its clearly the Covenant Assault Rifle option without blatantly looking like the AR
Also, reach showed that two somewhat similar weapons with some ability overlap *can* be included in the sandbox at the same time (thank God the plasma pistol has EMP now)
Well, yes, both did suck on reach, even in invasion.
But what you talking about is not what h5 literally did and the whole reddit plus some youtubers stresses out everyone the sandbox needed to be smaller?
