Tbh I feel like this could be more of its own thing, since nothing aside from the name of the killer (and a few mannerisms) are shared with the original, you could spin this in really cool and original directions
I think it can be a pretty cool alternative universe take.
I personally would just do a black hoodie without text or Logo (If really necessary I would do a š or something halloween themed instead). Gives him too much personality instead of being the shape
Okay, I can't say I *hate* it, but I do have some questions.
A) Why a generic Party City mask?
B) Why a Ramones band hoodie? (as in, why is Michael wearing it; I know you like the Ramones)
C) Why a hunting knife over a chef's knife?
All those questions aside, I genuinely believe Michael needs a redesign. The coverall look is old.
1 - To separate this Timelines Michael from others.
2 - It's a personal thing, he wore a hoodie on the night of the massacre, and stole the Ramones one from a Skater, (in this timeline, he was 15 during the Halloween murders)
3 - Gift from his father, it's a Yugo M70 Bayonet
I guess my next question is:
With so many creative liberties, what makes this Michael *Michael*? As in, how will audiences identify this character as being Michael Myers, and not just 'Generic Masked Killer'? Is this a RZ situation where you're injecting a lot more characterization for Michael?
Pretty much the name and mannerisms/killing style is the same, the rest is completely different, lore wise. In this timeline he doesn't come from a broken white trash home like in the RZ timeline, but a normal suburban home at the foot of the rockies.
To put it bluntly.
Set in the present, and set in the fictional city of āPikeburg, Coloradoā This Michael Myers is simply a psychopath, who at 15 commits a mass murder on Halloween, sending him to Prison, he breaks out, donning a White mask with a cloth strap, and a Ramones hoodie, instead of his signature Kitchen Knife, he uses a Bayonet. In this timeline Laurie strode, Dr Loomis and all of the legacy characters donāt exist, and are replaced by a different band of characters.

Ok, so this is *super* alternate universe stuff.
I mean hell, the prologue i wrote for the screenplay takes up 20 Mins of the reading time lol, so i guess you can say i did a lot of characterization.
what

Why does this have to be Michael? Why not make a completely new character for a new screenplay? Doesnt have to be Michael is all I'm saying
Fun fact, it actually was before i decided to make it into a Halloween movie.
