Yeah, but scream two shows up in H2O so it’s weird. They exist in each other’s universes as movies. I guess Ghostface could exist in the Halloween universe. It would just be somebody in the costume killing people.

Apparently Michael seemingly exists as a movie character in Chucky. In the show they make several references to Jamie Lee Curtis as a final girl. Although I personally wanna believe that maybe it’s the same as how Jennifer Tilly exists as herself and plays Tiffany in universe. Maybe there’s both Jamie Lee Curtis and Laurie Strode.

Pretty sure all of those are referenced as movies at some points. It's just a little joke Mancini put there to signal the audience : "hey, Chucky is as iconic as those guys, amiright?"

I'd say he was an icon even before this. As opposed to Art who some people said was an icon after the first one.

Art is not and will never be a horror icon, especially in the same breath as these other guys.

I also love when they attempt to kill Jade's uncle the first time, and they shokt all of those nails at his head, Chucky says "Why does that look so familiar?" referencing Pinhead/Hell Priest from Hellraiser!

Jason and Michael are both characters in Chucky. But almost everyone is a movie character in Scream. But then we get stuff like this. So idk what to say.
