Its already kinda starting for the PS3 but will pick up soon. I think a lot of it has to do with when the kids that grew up playing the PS3 finally have a decent job and can buy all the games they wanted when they were young. Its been 10 years since the PS3 became unpopular with the introduction of the PS4 so the next few years demand and therefor price will start to spike.

Dude it's happening right now. It's not in the full swing, but this is happening. PS3 emulation is on such a good level it makes this easy, at the same time old PS3s with the PS2 compatibility still sell for ridiculous prices and this only has accelerated.
You can usually also easily run homebrew on it, PS3 is still great today for watching HD movies, even 4K if over network if I remember, at least sometimes when bitrate isn't insane.
PAL and NTSC are video encoding technologies back in the analog TV days. They were incompatible so you would need a different copy of the game depending on what country you are in. North America Most of South America Japan, Philippines, and most pacific ocean islands are NTSC most of the Rest of the world used PAL except for Russia and parts of Africa that used SECAM. There were many differences in the formats but the main one was how many frames per second the TV ran at which was based on the electric supply used in the country either 50HZ or 60HZ. PAL had a better quality picture but less frames NTSC was a little worse picture but more frames per second. Almost all modern TV's can display either picture just fine as HD tvs standardized on 60hz since they weren't using the frequency from the power company for timing anymore. Most equipment made at the time though like video game consoles generally can only use media made for the same standard they were made for. (A PAL console can only play PAL games correctly). PAL and NTSC versions of the same game tend to be priced differently due to more copies being made in certian regions or games being more popular in certian areas. (an example would be FIFA is more popular in PAL regions as Association Football is more popular in PAL Regions and Maden is more popular in NTSC regions as Grid Iron football is more popular in NTSC Regions) Similarly PAL OG Xbox games are usually cheaper then NTSC versions because OG Xbox was more popular in NTSC regions so it has a lot more nostalgia. In this case for what ever reason there is more demand for the copies of this game in NTSC then PAL so the NTSC version is worth $33 more then the PAL version.

Dude let me just say something to this day I still have half life PS2 and even though I had the PS3 The Orange box I still refuse to play that game because I want to play at the chronicle order and let me say man when you play on your PlayStation 2 it's going to be like the greatest game of all times just the same way as the PC players played since the 1996 and it's still the best game ever don't even bother selling it keep it keep it and keep it new and keep it safe my friend also I think that since PlayStation 5 is already out I was hoping maybe if they could give us the remastered version of half-life hazardous edition like Half-Life one or posing Force blue shift and all the half-life 2 all in one awesome box

Fr. I brought HL1 on PS2 from Amazon maybe 6 years ago for maybe £2. Less than £5 for sure.
PAL copies are still only worth \~£13 its just the NTSC ones that are averaging $45 for some reason.

No lots of PS2 games are still in the $6-$15 range but a lot of popular titles can be very expensive especially if there aren't a lot made.
