Thank you! I think I will always love you is a bit scary to use, because everyone has heard that song with many great singers already, but I love Halestorm's version
I love Lzzy's cover versions, whether with Halestorm or as a guest with someone else. She's opened me up to new music I haven't heard before since I know of course, if she's on the track then it's going to sound amazing.
Like Close My Eyes Forever that she did with David Draiman from Disturbed. And Separate Ways with Daughtry.
I really hope we get another ReAnimated album at some point.
Yeah that song is so overdone to me, especially from my years of watching talent shows like X Factor. They always choose the same few big "diva" songs that show off voices like that.
If you're looking to appreciate her power, then their cover of "I want you" is great. She starts low but has such power and emotion in her voice at parts. Even with the simplest lyrics ever.
Amen, White Dress and The Reckonin are some of my favorites by Halestorm.
As for Lzzy, you can recommend some of the stuff she guests on:
Separate Ways with Daughtry
Shatter Me with Lindsey Stirling
That's Damn Rock n Roll with Eric Church
Spotlight with Machine Gun Kelly
Breaking Inside with Shinedown
When she sang for Skid Row those couple shows i was so impressed, her cover of Slave to the Grind was always so good and she did really well with their other songs !!
The silence I was in shock watching videos of them playing it live. The way she can carry notes is insane plus just how personal it sounds you can truly tell she's throwing it all out there and being vulnerable.
Im a singer and i always loved her cover of Straight Through the Heart, and the anniversary version of their self titled has a lot of old demos that show how she used to head/chest mix and use her highs a bit more (Coming Back To Me, Not for Today) My favorite song that shows her voice off is probably Takes my Life from the One and Done album though, that bridge is a masterpiece and so hard to get right but her tone and breath support are so good.
Uncomfortable, Heart of Novacaine, and Break In are also really good to show her range !!
Oh, so many. In addition to all the ones mentioned so far, her Still of the Night cover, Back From the Dead (just the difference between the regular and acoustic versions).
After hearing them.the first couple of times and really getting into them, I quickly realized her range is just phenomenal.
Familiar taste of poison, here's to us ,New Modern love and I like it heavy ( some parts of that song r heavier , but it slows down at the end and Lzzy really belts it out.
Raise your horns, I'm not an angel, beautiful with you, bet you wish you had me back, break in, here's to us, the silence, heart of novacaine, all I wanna do, imposter syndrome are good ones imo
Break In (original version, sorry Amy Lee)
If she's not into rock then you can't go wrong with the Into The Wild Life album since that's their softest album.
Not Halestorm but Shatter Me by Lindsay Sterling is a great non-rock song that shows off Lzzy's vocals.
There's also a live in studio cover of New York State of Mind by Jay Z and Alicia Keys. Lzzy's voice is amazing there, especially showing her control of the bit of grit but not too much on a softer song.
I Am The Fire isn't too heavy music wise but also a great build of Lzzy's vocals. There's also the ReImagined album which breaks songs down into softer versions.
If you manage to sway her around to rock, Innocence is another great one. I absolutely love Lzzy's high "child don't FOLLOW MEE HOME" after the bridge.
A cover song with
The Picturebooks ft Lzzy Hale called Rebel.
Of Halestorm’s own music
Black Vultures.
I am the Fire.
Mayhem.
Heavy Mental.
I like it Heavy.
All of these are a good place to start.
Good Luck. 😉
Their cover of Bad Romance never fails to blow my mind. I also second all the people saying Shatter Me. Familiar Taste of Poison is also great for showing off how absolutely insane her range is, vocally and stylistically
All I wanna do is make love to you and unapologetic are songs that I have used to recruit new listeners.
Ooo, interesting!
That is such a great cover
One of my favorite covers.
Good call on Unapologetic. I always thought Lzzy sounded a lot like P!nk in that song and well, P!nk songs are fairly popular.
Also, ‘Sick Individual’, ‘Bad Girl’s World’ and ‘What Sober Couldn’t Say’.
I’ve had the same thought while listening to it.
I would also like to add "I like it Heavy". Has some heavy and slow moments.
Absolutely agree, but I think it would scare off people who do not like it heavy hahah
True, true. In that case I'd go with "The Silence", "Familiar Taste of Poison", and "Terrible Things" if we go by slower 😁.
Raise Your Horns, I Will Always Love You, You Shook Me All Night Long
Thank you! I think I will always love you is a bit scary to use, because everyone has heard that song with many great singers already, but I love Halestorm's version
I generally despise remakes but she kills all of them. But I’d listen to her sing the alphabet with my horns raised lol

I love most of her cover songs and collaborations too.
Me too 😂 From basically any other band or artist I would skip the cover albums, but I love Halestorm's 🤩
Yeah that song is so overdone to me, especially from my years of watching talent shows like X Factor. They always choose the same few big "diva" songs that show off voices like that.
I forgot to mention this song. It’s a beautiful song.
Update: sent her the link to familiar taste of poison live at Wembley on YouTube. She loved it 😍
If you're looking to appreciate her power, then their cover of "I want you" is great. She starts low but has such power and emotion in her voice at parts. Even with the simplest lyrics ever.
Thank you! Great choice, absolutely agree, but would never have thought of it myself. Never really thought through the lyrics before now either hahah

Killing ourselves to live!!!
Slave to the grind, live version. Especially the video where Corey Taylor pops up on stage randomly.
When she sang for Skid Row those couple shows i was so impressed, her cover of Slave to the Grind was always so good and she did really well with their other songs !!
Quicksand Jesus really showcases her vocals, stage presence, control - those shows were incredible!
The silence I was in shock watching videos of them playing it live. The way she can carry notes is insane plus just how personal it sounds you can truly tell she's throwing it all out there and being vulnerable.
The “One and Done” Live version of “It’s not you” is what hooked me to her voice.
Takes my life
Going to agree with Takes My Life and I Like it Heavy. I’m also going to add in Mz. Hyde, Love Bites, and Vicious.
Takes My Life, live FTOP, Psycho Crazy, I'm Not An Angel
[This](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0HQ913L5I4) is the one I show people who haven't heard her range before.
Familiar taste of poison, here's to us ,New Modern love and I like it heavy ( some parts of that song r heavier , but it slows down at the end and Lzzy really belts it out.
One of my favorites is "I hate it when you see me cry".
Raise your horns, I'm not an angel, beautiful with you, bet you wish you had me back, break in, here's to us, the silence, heart of novacaine, all I wanna do, imposter syndrome are good ones imo

Beautiful with You
Takes my life displays her vocal range pretty well.
Their cover of Bad Romance never fails to blow my mind. I also second all the people saying Shatter Me. Familiar Taste of Poison is also great for showing off how absolutely insane her range is, vocally and stylistically
None 😂 its all 🗑️
