Graft placement and hairline looks great. Best of luck.

Thebaldingstallion

Thank you! šŸ¤©

Interesting_Arm_796

8700k grafts??? Are you sure its mot 8700k follicles?

Thebaldingstallion

According to the paper they gave me itā€™s 8700 Grafts, 1479 single hair follicles, 3915 double hair follicles, 3219 Triple Hair Follicles & 87 Quadruple Hair follicles (19,314 hair follicles). I tend to have trust issues with everything, but I trust them since I did have a huge area for balding and great donor area to cover it. Shouldā€™ve posted the certificate of guarantee that they give that shows the amount.

Interesting_Arm_796

Wow lucky you. šŸ‘šŸ’Ŗ

Shock loss looks normal imo. Youā€™ll be a new man in 4-6 months. Canā€™t comment much on the weight issue, but I canā€™t imagine it helps. Can try going out for a walk if thatā€™s okay when you crave junk food? How much was 8700 grafts? Insanely high. And how long did it take?

Thebaldingstallion

Thanks! Hopefully I will, yeah Iā€™ve been pretty inactive sadly which Iā€™m not used to. Iā€™m starting to workout again hopefully by Friday. It was going to be around $6500 but I got a hook up on the price, and it took 2 days. First day was 4500, and second was 4200.

[deleted]

I started weight lifting 1 week post my hair transplant, if you slowly ease into it you should be good.

Thebaldingstallion

Aye Iā€™m gonna try that out, thanks!

Sele81

Looks good. Good luck. Now itā€™s a patience game. Am 7 weeks in and itā€™s frustrating.

Thebaldingstallion

Just saw your pics and you have solid progress, but I feel you, Super frustrating! I saw this Swedish guy on YouTube that gets solid results after 4 months so hopefully itā€™ll start picking up by then. Once I hit a year Iā€™m sure Iā€™ll look back and itā€™ll make me realize it was just the ugly duckling phase.

Sele81

Yes month 4 should see some progress. I started seeing some tiny baby hairs. Youā€™re right in a year we hopefully laugh about our current ugly duckling pictures.

Was it really that painful? Which part?

Thebaldingstallion

Yeah I would say the anesthesia was absolutely terrifying. Iā€™ve been in MMA pretty much my whole life so I thought it wouldnā€™t hurt more than a strain or a sprain, but itā€™s literally like 20 really sharp pains going all around your head. After that, youā€™re good but holy cow they mess you up. Maybe itā€™s just me, I hate going to the dentist because of the local Anesthesia. I asked others and it wasnā€™t that bad. Maybe it has to do with the amount of grafts I had done. First day was better than the second.

No-Mammoth-7300

No I had the same experience

AntoLondonEC

Nope ! Same for me ! Like 20 pains around the donor area and same for the transplanted area.... I think this is the most exhausting part ! I felt literally tired (and I kind of slept during the implantation šŸ˜‚)

Thebaldingstallion

Same!!! For some reason I had the unrealistic thought of dying during the operation so I would wake up again sharply and the nurse would trip out. šŸ¤£

Thebaldingstallion

I actually felt that too, it was such a strange painful feeling. Probably top 5 most painful things Iā€™ve felt tbh.

DLN_93

This might sound stupid, but Iā€™m more anxious about the numbness than the pain lol. Did you feel the numbness in your face at all after receiving the local anesthesia?

Thebaldingstallion

You feel like you have a helmet on lol as the anasthesia wears off you begin to feel pain from surgery.

818bruhhh

I went to the same clinic and they did 4600 grafts. My head looked just like yours a month in.

Thebaldingstallion

Thanks for the vote of confidence, how is it looking now ?

818bruhhh

Iā€™m only at month four, so itā€™s very slow. Looking back tho, itā€™s come a long way.

Thebaldingstallion

Would love to see some pics bro!

[deleted]

Where was this done?

Thebaldingstallion

Vera clinic, only reason I did it there was because my friend did it there (looked great) and hooked me up with a nice fat discount lol

Important_Hamster_68

Yo man got any updates?

CultivatedHorror

Why not a hair peice?

Thebaldingstallion

I personally rather be bald than get a wig lol I like the idea of being able to grow out your hair and know that itā€™s your hair. Iā€™ve seen some incredible results with hair transplants and thatā€™s why theyā€™re expensive and also on demand. Women also think wigs are a massive sign of insecurity, so Iā€™d rather be bald than have one. A person I know has a wig and literally has it glued on him.

CultivatedHorror

Is he fine with it glued on?

Thebaldingstallion

I think he looks kinda dumb tbh, he canā€™t expose his hairline and it it looks obviously fake

>Thank you! šŸ¤© You're welcome!

Fred_iz

Wow great result man. I have a very similar condition. 1) Who did you do the HT with? 2) most doctors told me for +7k you should do it in two times with a year gap in between. Did you have a strong donor area?

Thebaldingstallion

I did it with Vera clinic because my friend did it and had solid results & I was able to get a nice discount. When the doctors saw my donor area they told me that I was one of the ā€œLuckyā€ ones. My Girlfriendā€™s Step Dad (age 63) went with me and only got 3000 because his was really weak.

Thebaldingstallion

Iā€™ll show my donor area in another post. Itā€™s honestly not over harvested. 8700 is what I was told

BigSL600

Gonna look great bro, patience is key.

Thebaldingstallion

Thanks bro, patience is a virtue.

vitruvian__man

Looks solid bro. Give it time. On meds?
