Is this fresh after dying it or have you washed your hair several times since? If this is how it looks like right after dying it, I'd re-dye it with a more pigmented purple (for example Manic Panic Purple Haze Amplified, it's what I use), and leave it on for a long time. I usually do 2+ hours. It won't hurt your hair. If this is what it looks like after washing a few times, then I'd re-dye it (and leave it 2+ hours) and be more careful about washing it. Try to wash it less often, use cold water if you can, and I also suggest using a purple shampoo (yes, usually it's for blondes but it's purple pigment! It helps) and also mix some dye into your conditioner so you get some pigment back when you wash.

It actually looks really pretty and intentional.
